DISappearing Peeps...A fastpass to THIN! Part 2

Good morning Peeps. I just wanted to check in and see what I missed last night. I am home sick today...those Lymph Nodes (that Dr Dene) are swollen even worse and my neck and back are so stiff I can hardly move. :sick:

But I had to drag my butt out of bed to finish a quote for work (I would have had to drag my butt out of a coffin to finish this one...) and since I was here, I had to stop in and say morning!

Now I'm going back to bed. Try to stay out of trouble while I'm gone...

and Dis, don't think I'm working out tonight...sorry.

If it's any consolation, I had the same stuff this past weekend and I'm starting to feel better. Just don't let it go too long before seeing a Dr. I'm not a fan of antibiotics, but in this case I wound up needing them thanks to my sinuses getting infected. Hang in there! And may I recommend Maneschewitz chicken broth? It's in the kosher section of the store and comes in a regular soup can. Instant relief for all that ails you! :thumbsup2

They are single serve lean cuisine type. It is plenty of food. I had mine with a salad last night, and I didn't eat another thing before bed. I ate at 5:45 and went to be at 11:30.
 
Thanks!! It's nice to know there are others in the exact same boat :) . . . I just get so frustrated with the weight fluctuation each day and I'm always trying to figure out what I did to cause it. I'm a little nervous about eventually trying to decrease to 20 pts. a day, so for now I guess I'll just take it day to day and try to keep within or maybe even under my 22 pts. :cheer2: We can do it!!

Yeah, my DH was excited when we heard Mike interviewed with the Dolphins. We think it was more or less just a favor to his dad, and he probably won't get hired as a head a coach right now, but maybe as an assistant back w/ the Dolphins depending on who they do hire. It would be pretty ironic if the dolphins did hire him . . . That would fix "Nick Satan" as we're all calling him!! No offense against Alabama, but unfortunately it looks as though the administration still thinks hiring a new coach will fix problems that run pretty deep in the organization :sad2: !!

"Nick Satan", now that's funny right there.:rotfl: My WW leader always stessed to us to eat all our points every day. That way when you plateau (sp?), you have some room to work with. Cut back points and it will jump start you again.

Yeah, I think the problems at Alabama are deeper than the coach. Good luck to Mike.

Firstly this am ..ok who had our rescue man last night??? WE will know as you will be the one with the least caloric intake, the most calories burned and the happiest little peeps in the room.....ok that being said!!!

Second big hugs of gratitude and all those swell kind thoughts. Ok last night I broke down ate a twinkee and 3 butter cookies naturally witha glass of SKIM milk!!!:rotfl:

Now onto my slef pity trip its gone for today...I jumped off that bus and thanks to the knowledge that today can be wahtever I want to be and no one here will be pointing a finger at my twinkee maybe my fireman firend but not my twinkee!

Harley I love the 1c cup rule of milk I will try to mix it with a bit of skim and work on that.

I learned these wierd food facts and have learned they apply ready.

IF YOU CRAVE SALT THEN , YOU HAVE A RESENTMENT TOWARDS SOMEONE OR THING AND ARE EATTING OUT OF ANGER.

IF YOU CRAVE CHOCOLATE YOU CRAVE LOVE AND AFFECTION

CHOCOLATE = LOVE
SALT = ANGER

So when I crave wither of these I ask myself ..self who are you angry with??

Ironically it does help me!

Utah said to me alot of this is mental and I agree 100% the whole thing last night was mental! Seeking Dhs apporval or whatever! This am he said he doesn't say anything becuse its that guy rule if he gets enthuised he fears the comment, what I was not good when I was 10 lbs more!:rotfl: Probably right too!
He has also seen me struggle these past few years and am sure he is real tired of this rollercoaster I am on and would rather stay on the gorund! Its safe there and he knows the answer to do I look fat in this from there!

OK so I got up at bit earleir and plan do so ....20 minutes on bike 10 minutes on gazelle.

Now I will head off to make a bowl of colon blow and may get wild and put some strwberries there! Way cool!

Thanks for pulling me up and keeping me focused! Love you guys...and can someone please return our fireman cheerleader to the room!

look I made 10000 yippeee! I have been meaniing to mention now for 3 days that the weather channel has a contest to win everyday some disney things! anyone wanting that info let me know!

So last night I did NOT eat my little something just before bed, like I said I would. I was not that hungry so I went to bed! Just dandy....

Then in the MIDDLE of the night, I woke up and ate 5 crackers! In the middle of the flipping night! I was sooooo starving!

My 2 current habits to work actively (not just talk about):

1. Not eating 2 hours before bed. My new doable solution is to eat dinner at 7 since I want to go to bed at 9. And make sure I'm full at dinne.

2. Diet Pepsi- I didnt drink any at all last time and the weight came off much easier. I know there's no calories but I think it's the sodium or carbonation (stretches your stomach, I heard). So I'm drinking water.

I LOVE water! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I usually plan such meals for thursdays. Like, Colonblows with a side order of broccoli and a pooh muffin for dessert.

I'll be so light, I'll float to the scale :rotfl:


I'm feeling a cold or something comeing on. My neck is stiff. I'm sort of achey and my cheeks are pink. Not much of an appetite either, CALL 911!!!! ;)

So I'm oDing on airborn and my vitamins and WATER (just plain water)
I must be sick or BOB brain washed me!

I ALMOST made it with the no eating 2 hours before bed, but my stomach was full on growling lat night so I had not one, but TWO pieces of toast. I decided that is my arch nemesis...late night sumpin-sumpin! popcorn::

for lunch I had a huge green salad with a grilled chicken breast with spray dressing (FULL)

for snack I had a key lime thingy from WW semi frozen (BTS= Better Than S_ _)

What are some of your (the collective your) major diet killers?????

What can we do as a group to solve those bad habbits???

OOH Princess is that a new tag you have dear?

Question- do you eat breakfast? and if you do when do you eat it? first thing or do you wait for a while then eat?

I think part of my problem is that I get up at like 6:30 but I usually dont eat breakfast til 8:30-9:30...so is my body going into starvation mode? I am wondering if by breakfast they mean right when you get up.

Also - you really think the diet pepsis are stretching your tummy? cause I am still havign a diet coke everyday and I wonder if its hindering me. I'da figured I'dave at least lost some more weight by this point, I have been working out for 3 mos already!!! even with cheating here and there I should see something...right?

ok good news yesterday history and today getting into action...ok got out the journal will write all food down with calories. Had not been doing.

Found my local WW, held on Tuesdday nights at 7 and I got a buddy coming along with me!

Will not inform DH of my progress. I forgot this really is about me !!!!

UM do those muffin pack a punch like the colon blow does???

Oh and BTW went to grocerry sotres and the walmart no thai chicken...grrr

That's cause it's so GOOOOODDDD! They always sell out first. I'm having one right now!

V.....you're looking rawther taggish today, dahling. Love it! Did you really squish your baby??? He looks fine to me. ;) RE: calories....I know you are a pixie princess but 1000 calories sounds kinda low to me. Take your goal weight and multiply times 12. That is roughly enough calories to get you where you're going.

Harley....I am forcing myself to eat breakfast as I am just not an early morning eater. I wake up early...5-6am. Have my pre-breakfast 3 cups of half caff with whole milk and then eat my oatmeal/flax/soy milk combo after I get back from school run #1 around 8am.
 
My major diet killer is that I don't do deprivation well and, no kidding, I have to reduce my daily calories to about 1000 AND exercise like crazy to lose anything. I know that sounds ridiculously low, but I'm only 5' tall and to sustain weight I need about 1400 calories a day. It takes 3500 calories to make a pound, so if I want to lose a pound a week, it's 1000 per day or less. But I get really, really hungry when I exercise regularly and I wind up eating more. Even though it's healthy foods, I can't lose this way. After a week of this, I get tired and give up.

How to remedy this? All I can think is that I need to reduce calories and just do yoga (i.e. no aerobic activity) for a few weeks to dump the pounds and then start walking/running again. Any other opinions are welcome!

Princess V: Have you considered Weight Watchers? I'm a pixie princess too as Twinkie puts it (only 5 feet tall), and WW has seemed to work for me. I was always starving when I tried to do low calorie diets, but with WW I've learned what I can eat more of if I get hungry (0 pt. foods) and I still have enough energy to work out and not feel like I'm starving. It's definitely harder for us pixie princesses, I usually only lose 1 to 2 lbs. a week, but I'm starting to really notice a change in inches (clothes fitting better) and I don't feel hungry all the time like I used to. WW is a great way to teach yourself portion control and to curb your appetite (I totally used to eat as much or more than my 6'2" DH :confused3 )!

My diet killer is deprivation . . . 100% MENTAL :rolleyes1 !! My DH and I were watching Great Cruises w/ Sam Brown last night and it was about the new RC Freedom of the Seas . . . One look at all the good food, especially Johnny Rockets and I wanted a burger and fries . . . plus some choclatey dessert :sad: !! I miss Wendy's, Chipotle, Red Robin, any kind of macaroni and cheese, and all that yummy food that I know I could eat if I want to use up all my points for the day, but I realize is just not worth the points!!! For me if I give in to just one craving it's all over, and I'll just crave it more :headache: !!

In an effort to be accountable, I'm going to try to start counting out my points, so here's yesterday:
B: FF peach yogurt and coffee w/ coffemate ff french vanilla: 3 (i think I might need to start measuring my coffeemate instead of estimating :rolleyes1 )
L: Turkey, ham & one slice mozzarella on WW whole grain bread; veggies & lite dill dip, and lite diced peaches snack cup: 8
D: 1 1/2 Perdue lowfat breaded italian style chicken breasts, baked potato w/ 1 tbs. ff sour cream and chives, and steamfresh broccoli: 9.5
TOTAL: 20.5 (give or take a few, probably close to my allotted 22 pts.)
