well inquiring minds must myspace me - angelmum3@yahoo.com

as just talking about that could get me banned here!! Talk about a not allowed website!!! :rolleyes1 I just appreciated knowing the "truth" about that flowerschild poster (his IP gave him away at a Vegan site where he was quite intelligent!!)

Okay - here goes a 2nd poem (Just typed it all and have to re-do it cause it went nowhere! :scared1: ) I am toiling with sending some on to a friend who is a publisher but that is a way scary step.

Please give me honest, constuctive criticism.

I wrote this with inspiration from my Grandparents who lived next door to each other from age 4 & 5. They never were apart and she always said he was her Knight in Shining armor...her prince. He saved her when she was trapped in a dysfunctional home and I will forever love their romance and hold it up to my life as a picture of what I would want for my own. If only we could all be so lucky.

Carry Me

Carry me to the time when I will wear your ring
Where fireflies dance and the crickets sing
Carry me far from the home in which I reside
Where shadows haunt and tempers hide
Carry me in your strong arms of love
Where safety surrounds and passion cries from above
Carry me to a glorious, wonderous place
Mystical, magical yet so full of grace
Carry me to a far reached, distant shore
Where "I love you" won't fall from my lips upon the barren floor
Carry me with you from dream to sweet dream
Carry me with you to sights yet to behold and unseen
Carry me through the night and throughout the next day
Carry me quite simply
Because I need to be
Carried away.

Melinda- got the all clear by the plummer!! Shh don't tell DH yet I am going to bed early very tired today! OK only kiddiing, I otld him already not a canerous one in the bunch, sadly I don' think tohugh they weighed enough to count towards any loss!

Oh well I will take it! Happy Monday all!

Very deep. I like it!! I realize I'm not much of a critic, I dont know poetry "rules" so I cant be much help - but I do love the poem, love the way it sounds and trips over the tongue when you read it!! Plus it works real well if you sign it... I love the sign for "carry"...

Thanks - I'll get everyones opinion here and then decide what to do with it. I have stacks. I think the sicker I get, the more sure I need to do something with this I am. :) I just had a good friend find out that her ideal job may ellude her for a year or so more and you just never know when that "Stay put" time moves you forward where you least expect it.

I have a question....I would love to attend the Peeps meet but if I can't....can we still order shirts? I think it would be fun to support the walkers by having mini walks. I could walk at the MOA the same distance you guys who go walk. It would be a symbol of support - kind of like the breast cancer walks they do on the same day.

Stacey Our trip will sadly being the day after his bday is the 14th of April, the peak rate is in full swing but the day after it drops to regular. So Dh asked I book it to begin on 4/15.

So we will celebrate the day after, I don;t like the idea but DH asserted himself on this issue.

Dh also is now kicking around the idea of flying after he learned the news about the other jobs. Origally he said no he did not wnat to fly now he asked me to price it out. The guy is making me nuts!

I also have DH birthday on the 16th of April. I bboked Lilo and Stich bfast for DS ont he 15th and Coral Reef for dinner and will have his cake there. DH wanted Crystal Palce for brfast birthday and Biergarten and Le Cellier for dinner.

I will be sick to stomach with DH birthday food. DS has been really working hard on behavior and grades I am very proud and this trip I think will be a fine testament to job well done!

A birthday the day after in WDW will be perfect!!! How exciting!

Happy Monday everyone,
your first day back at work went well!

On to more important matters now - boys ;) . So I made my myspace in December and was able to find a lot of people that I went to high school and college with that I haven't talked to in awhile. I stumbled across this guy that I went to high school with but he moved our junior year out to CA. We weren't super close, but we hung out every once in awhile, were in band together, and lived near me so he chaueffered me around sometimes since I had no car. Anywho, I asked him to be one of my "friends" and he accepted but I never got around to sending him a message with the usual how are you, what have you been up to, etc. Do you think it would be random if I did it now? Oh and the reason I'm more interested in connecting back up with him is because he has moved back to Orlando! My second favorite place to be other than home. And he's grown up good! He's got a McDreamy thing going on a little bit, although the real McDreamy is still :cloud9: . Anyway, I love having stupid boy things to keep my mind off all the other yucky stuff.

Just thought of something - am I the only single PEEP here? Wow - I feel like a loser. Anyway, I'm gonna start thinking of some cute witty things to say and maybe email him tonight.

Gotta get ready for class. Later peeps, :grouphug:
*Shannon

This sounds promising! Is his pic on your myspace in your friends pic? I am going to have to have a looksee! Be sure to keep us updated! Romance is just what you need right now!

Great news Fidge! What about Dawn, any results yet?

I just got home. I got good news and bad news. Let's start with good. My MRI was fine, no surgery for me! Bad new - I have what is called SI Joint dysfunction. The doctor said it would be a lifetime thing. I will go to Physical Therapy 3 times a week to start with and she will teach me exercises to do daily at home. He said my life would have to change. No heavy lifting or doing activities that require a lot of twisting. Right now he does not want me to lift anything heavier that a gallon of milk. :scared1: My laundry is heavier than that! Then he told scary stories about his patients that have this and how when they didn't keep up with the exercises and did not listen to him, they ended up on disability and in lots of pain. Anyway, I am still processing this. I will learn more when I see the physical therapist - she specializes in this type of pain.

Then to top it off, we go to pick up my DS at school and his teacher tells me that his President project is due today! I remember seeing this assignment like last Monday, before my life went a little crazy. For some reason I thought it was due next week. And DH has been doing the homework. I work with her so she knows I have been out of commission. She told me she has only taken off 10 points so far! So now I have to go do this ridiculous project. My DS is in 2nd grade, they are suppose to read books or encyclopedia's about a president (you know those encyclopedia's that are on a 2nd grade reading level :confused3 ) then write a report with topic sentences and supporting details :confused3 then make a poster and prepare and oral presentation! Are you kidding me? She told me he could type it or write it!!! So guess who will be doing this project! Along with an assignment I have due in my class! They moved the smilies again! Insert flame angry guy! Vent over!

You are truly talented. Great poem !!!!

WAIT A MINUTE... that's it???? No details on day one??? (insert pout smiliey here)

Stacey 2nd grade? ARE YOU KIDDIN ME? Well, I know I've helped teach 6 traits for writing and I understand the writing criteria, and I appreciate she is "only" deducting 10 points.. did she give time in class? and what if ds never turns it in? its on his "permanant" record... :rotfl2: I am so old, that I wouldnt give a rats... behind!! DD is lucky she is our last born, with the first born I cared!!! :rotfl2: Then my 2nd born cured me!! :rotfl2: He'd get D's and F's and :confused3 shrug it off... for the life of me I didnt "get" this kid!! And it was no wonder when the moms of the Scouts wondered who we paid to get him into Univ of IL "he's not smart enough" :rotfl2: um yes he was so smart, he kept it well hidden!! :rotfl2: (30 on ACT!!)

So just have him recite the words, and you type them!! The internet will help you - dont stress over it... breath in... and let it go!! TRUST ME - my ds refused to do a high school term paper!! :rotfl2: The teacher begged me to get ds to turn in "something" or ds would have to take summer school - that got ds attention!! BUT 2nd GRADE???

(now I remember dd had to do a report for first grade, to do that writing - and a poster - the teacher assigned her to do a "Princess" because she knew dd obsession!! :rotfl2: DD did it on Princess Diana... and all on her own!! :rotfl2: A parent accused me of doing it, because no first grader is going to know about the land mines and her "philanthropic deeds" :rotfl2: The teacher had to tell the parents that dd wasnt allowed to do work at home, and it was so all hers!! :rotfl2: (other kids did it on Teddy Bears, cute stuff!! )

Good luck!

and another incentive for torture.. ahem I mean exercise!! So glad you dont have to have surgery... what about Glucosamine for joints - you can get it at WalMart and it truly does make a good difference!!

Stacey - so sorry to hear and worstly is the comment of Drs saying take it easy or stay off your feet?? OK that being said Doc will the insurance cover the maid that will now be required to come in and do all the stuff you insist I don't do ?? OK someone kick my box out from under my feet!!!

Winkers are you trying to confuse me? Did you have an mri too??

Well, I am home now.

pigget - We ate at Coral Reef last May, and it was wonderful! We loved it! I had catfish and the chocolate wave. It was incredible!

Stacey - Well, I'm glad you got an answer. I'm sorry it is what it is. But definitely do those execises, and good luck with the PT.

Bee - How was your first day?
