moody? Well I'll ask dh if I'm moody today, no more than most days I'd say....

OH>.. WAIT.... No, I'm not that poster, and I dont change or have more than one dis name!! I just have been reading too much on a "banned" site that banned dis'ers go, they invent other dis names and come back and cause trouble (I dont post on that site, I just lurk to get the scoop on some of the weird community board posts - it makes sense when you get the back stories!!)

Anyway, I have no clue who, what, or why that post suddenly found its way on our supportive thread, but every now and again a lurker will post something so outrageous just to stir up trouble... and I know not to take the bait!! Over on the Budget Board their is a thread on how to earn $70 for 5 hours of work - very cool, supportive people, and all of a sudden one poster came thru to "stir" the pot... (not like that Tiki poster on Stacey's thread Tiki had 56 posts and you can search her posts... )

YIKES... way TMI...

I HAVE to do the laundry!!

I got a pm the other day from a gal who had asked me about some planning she was making for her disneymoon. SHe returned from her disnemoon and posted a very pointed report of her problems with an airline. Yes she came off very emotional no arugemnt but man oh man was she bashed. SHe pmed me very upset how this was happening and was going to discontinue her use of this board.

I went onto the thread and politely pointed out that maybe this issue should drop to the floor and jstu congrat and well wish the newleywed.

Well I thought it had dropped but somone started another thread digging in at this gal. I was very disappointed in the attacks imagine they attacked her TYPOS!!! Nuts I say, so I replied with kindness and made a kind statement. I must say I was over the moon when I took note that the moderator removed the origianl thread as well as modified the new one. Job well done to that moderator. Sadly it seems some folks lack patience and tolerance of tohers just wnat it to be given to them.

Say what you mean don't say it mean! It did give me a moemtns pause to be reminded some people have other motives one to improve their own self image at the cost of others! That is truly patheltic in my book but if need be have it at! Take any shot you want at me, I will walk away and never look back, no one owns any part oif my heart soul or mind but my God.

For those less kind I pray and remind myself how grateful I am that in all my words actions and deeds I try to always bring joy or laughter and if nothing else respect for others!

OK someone help me down from my soap box! I gotta go and something of importance, eat colon blow!

Stacey Our trip will sadly being the day after his bday is the 14th of April, the peak rate is in full swing but the day after it drops to regular. So Dh asked I book it to begin on 4/15.

So we will celebrate the day after, I don;t like the idea but DH asserted himself on this issue.

Dh also is now kicking around the idea of flying after he learned the news about the other jobs. Origally he said no he did not wnat to fly now he asked me to price it out. The guy is making me nuts!

I also have DH birthday on the 16th of April. I bboked Lilo and Stich bfast for DS ont he 15th and Coral Reef for dinner and will have his cake there. DH wanted Crystal Palce for brfast birthday and Biergarten and Le Cellier for dinner.

I will be sick to stomach with DH birthday food. DS has been really working hard on behavior and grades I am very proud and this trip I think will be a fine testament to job well done!

um Fidge... its just a date!!! IF you go with the attitude it IS his bday, then IT IS HIS bday!! I know, we celebrated my mom's bday the whole week, and dd 2 weeks early - she picked one day to be "THE" day, so if anyone asked she would say Thurs, and trust me, no one cares - make it beautiful, and Disney will make it memorable!!

Make sure you note it on your Resort Ressie, and tell them his fav character!!! DD was so blown away that Aurora sent her a bday card and Snow White sent one to my mom!! I also arranged for Disney Florist to send them a gift bag, with a balloon that stayed all week!! _ - it was a Tink balloon, so at THREE AM dd awoke screamin "ITS TINK ITS TINK< I see her!!" I know this off topic, but how is Coral Reef. Trying to come up with one more place for us to eat at in May. How do you go bout getting a diver to hold up a sign. Wanted to do something special since this is our first trip together and will most likey be our last for a while. ANy help would be great. Thanks

Ah that is so sweet, I wish we had some birthdays whilst there but as we always go in August and ours are Feb, May and 2 in July also our WA in July, do you think we could have a Bday a month late.

The whole rude posting gets me a bit upset, I'm not a confrontational person in real life and would hate for someone whether I know them in person or not to dislike me, although I know it is easy to read things a different way to how they were meant! I was reading a thread about DP especially kids meals and it was getting really nasty which is just unacceptable, good job everyone here is so nice.

Eeyore how do you know exactly the right things to say everytime? Whenever I read your replies to posts I think Yeah she's so right.

Right back to what we're here for, I won't be getting my normal exercise this week as the girls are on holiday (we call it half term) although we did a walk today. The car had to have it's windscreen replaced as it had a crack so we dropped it at the garage and walked about 15mins to the shops. It was absolutely chucking it down (raining!) and the road we walked on had a rain river running down it and lots of lorries (trucks) and cars speeding through the puddles, we ended up looking like Bridgette Jones getting drenched from head to foot. The girls thought it was hilarious dodging out of the way from all the puddles but it wasn't the best idea for DD to wear her cream trousers! So I did get some exercise today but also had a McFlurry, haven't had one for ages, so I guess they cancel each other out.

Taking this medication is great for stopping any late night snacking as I know I can't eat anything after 8pm, just got to make sure I don't eat more during the day.

Happy Monday everyone,
I'm still feeling a little blue. But I'm hanging in there. Had a small anxiety attack this morning as I was looking at a local dentist's website and reading about sedation dentistry. But this is a positive step that I'm actually considering getting stuff done and not totally brushing it under the rug.

I read all the posts since last night and I think there were a couple that I wanted to reply to, but now I don't remember and don't have the time to go back and look.

I do remember one though - Bee! I hope your first day back at work went well!

ETA - Thought of something else! I love the T-shirt design Aries!

On to more important matters now - boys . So I made my myspace in December and was able to find a lot of people that I went to high school and college with that I haven't talked to in awhile. I stumbled across this guy that I went to high school with but he moved our junior year out to CA. We weren't super close, but we hung out every once in awhile, were in band together, and lived near me so he chaueffered me around sometimes since I had no car. Anywho, I asked him to be one of my "friends" and he accepted but I never got around to sending him a message with the usual how are you, what have you been up to, etc. Do you think it would be random if I did it now? Oh and the reason I'm more interested in connecting back up with him is because he has moved back to Orlando! My second favorite place to be other than home. And he's grown up good! He's got a McDreamy thing going on a little bit, although the real McDreamy is still . Anyway, I love having stupid boy things to keep my mind off all the other yucky stuff.

Just thought of something - am I the only single PEEP here? Wow - I feel like a loser. Anyway, I'm gonna start thinking of some cute witty things to say and maybe email him tonight.

Vegas! Don't go crazy!!! I will PM you my travel agent's info. I met her here on the Dis. I love her!!! She saved us almost $300. We found her after we booked and it cost us nothing to move reservation to her. Then she handled everything and found us good deals! Right now she is working on our cruise. It is so great. I give her an idea of what we are looking for and she puts the quotes together and looks for discounts.

i just emailed her thank you so much.

Thank you everyone for the well wishes on our trip But sad to say there will be no trip report because what happens in vegas stays in vegas My Dh is such a nerd he called me on his lunch and i told him he had some packages . he tells me to open them and so i do, one a bunch of minatures for his d&d and the second a (pirates of the carribean dead mans chest ps2 game) he lets out a not so nice word rhymes with fit, and then feels really silly and say's "happy valentines day honey" he got me the game (which i love to play) we rented it once i think i let the kids play and i just listen to the voices OOOOHHH Jack Sparrow... orlando bloom ... just thought i would share that story.....

Pigget,can't remember if anyone has answered you but my sister and her family loved Coral Reef.

I just had a huge scare.Harley and I called the school earlier today and told them all five of the kids needed to be car riders.I get there and there are only three!My DS11 and DS9 aren't there and they don't know why.Well DS11 is suspended from the bus(a whole 'nother story)so I just knew he wasn't on the bus which meant my DS9 would get off alone.He is not a mature 9 and would have freaked.It turns out DS11 was with him and that they never got their notes. It all turned out okay thank God!!

We just ate at Coral Reef for lunch in December, and it was wonderful! The lobster bisque was sooo good! And the chocolate wave..... mmmmmmm! Plus, it's pretty cool watching the fish in the big tank, LOL!

I truly can relate - I did make an appt at a sedation dentist, the cost was astronomical, all that work they wanted to "add on" had me in tears!! Just also when you look thru the phone book there are some buzz words that help, "no tear" or some such, BUT call them, tell them your extremely nervous, and what they do to help - some have music, some have a nice "lamaze" method of dentistry, a gentle spirit, that's what you need!! GOOD FOR YOU - Keep it up!!

PiggetWe've not eaten at Coral Reef, but do call and see if you can set it up - the Diver will make it so special!! the direct number to the Coral Reef is:
407-560-6704. I would recommend calling in the morning. and call as soon as you know - a month ahead would be fine!! (or if all you have is a week, call then too!!)

weight loss buddy wanted

Hi- I am interested in a weight loss buddy too. I want to lose 38#. I'd like to by July 07 (our vacation at Disney this yr)but I think that may be unrealistic.

I have done weight watchers before and I did lose weight but I got really tired of counting points and planning what I was going to eat that day. I'm in the 40ish age group, mom of 3 (11,15,and 18), working mother, I work 3rd shift *I'm a nurse*, so my sleep and eating patterns are the pits. My husband and I recently joined a 24hr access gym and I have been going almost everyday when I get off work and walk 1-2 miles on the tredmill. I have an appointment with a personal trainer later this week. (boy, I really hate paying people money for information on diet and exercise- I got all this information in my nursing education) I kinda do the weight watchers thing with my diet but mostly just try to eat less and move more.

Anyway, hubby has lost 15# so far- yea for him: Me- I started working out and I GAINED 2#- WHATS UP WITH THAT!?

So if you are like me and have found that after 40, you dont have slow metabolism - it just doesnt exist at all and french fries are not your friend - lets help each other stay on track for maybe not a skinny me but a healthier me.

Heather....Jay (jaycns) had this done during her trip. Refer to her trip report--which is now in completed reports--and pm her if you need to. My dinner at Coral Reef (medium rare ahi tuna) was fabulous but no one else in our family liked what they had. We were seated on the back wall right by the kitchen door and service was pretty spotty. In restaurants the managers usually put the newbie servers near the kitchen which might explain that. Make sure you're in the front row right by where they put your sign up and you'll be fine.

I'm definately over 40, and overweight!! I've tried several times to lose, I'm one that has lost and gained the same 10# so many times!! This thread has made me not only bare my soul (posting my weight and my pictures!) but given me hope, and a goal...

My goal is a 1/2 marathon, in WDW Jan '08, others are going to try and do the 5K, I just didnt think the 5K would challenge me to do anything different (I'm tall and could walk a 5K with no training!! the Half, I'd have to do something!!)

My dinner at Coral Reef (medium rare ahi tuna) was fabulous but no one else in our family liked what they had.

I LUV medium rare ahi tuna... I buy the tuna steaks at Costco and make my own. I like to experiment with the different seasonings... Caribbean Jerk is actually pretty darn good!
