Mee too Wonders! I am hoping that I can just get to where I feel healthy and then get a note from my Dr. They will accept that to let you ahve a higher goal weight. Without getting 'the twins' surgically altered, there is no way I can weigh what they say I should.

Somewhere back a few million pages ago, we discussed ways to weigh in without weighing the girls...I am convinced I would drop a quick 20 without them!

My GA babes (Harley, dismom, and dragonfly)[/B] - Did General Beauregard Lee see his shadow at the Yellow River Game Ranch today? That is one thing I miss about being in GA. I know it sounds silly, but I do. They always made a big production out of it on the news. We don't even have a groundhog over here in AL. :sad2: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

I don't know what Phil said, but down here, it's SPRINGTIME!!! :cheer2:
Here is the official report:

LILBURN GA, SUNRISE: General Beau Lee, Ph.D., Georgia’s Official Weather Prognosticator and internationally recognized furry forecaster, roused by "scattered, smothered and covered hash browns” and a record-breaking crowd of Beau Boosters yelling "GO BEAU" waddled out of his Southern Mansion at 7:31 am in nippy, 40-degree weather at the Yellow River Game Ranch in Lilburn.

After conferring with the huddled crowd, Game Ranch CEO, Col. Art Rilling— wearing oversized yellow sunglasses— proclaimed Beau’s prediction,

“Pack your parkas, y’all. Beau did not see his shadow. Look forward to an early spring!!!!”

Lynda, thank you for sharing your story . It made me realize that things could definatley be alot worse.

I'm doing ok this morning, sad but I feel good. My sister got here at 4a.m. so I've been up since then trying to catch up on things. Thank you for all the love and support! The pathology report came back yesterday and showed that the cancer is in her lymph nodes , so not long before it will spread everywhere. We are praying that she is able to have a peacefull and quick death. Wow, that sounds so harsh, but she's in alot of pain. I spent most of yesterday at the hospital and will do the same today. On the bright side I've been able to spend alot of time with family and appreciate how much they mean to me. A

I have lost both of my parents and a grandfather in the last 7 years and I have learned that you have to look at the bright side in everything. Count your blessings in each and every family member that is there! You will need each other to get through this. And your peeps are sending lots of love and prayers your way too.

Has anyone "seen" Tinkersmom lately? She popped on a couple weeks ago and I'm not sure I have seen her since.

She had to take a break. She is ok and says hi to everyone! :wave2:

Happy weighin day, Everyone!!!!!
My first Peep weighin and I lost 4 pounds!!!:woohoo: I'm so happy. I haven't lost any weight in weeks. I think that stopping eating at 7 and the water is the key for me. I know I don't participate as much as I should, but you guys all inspire and motivate me so much, you just don't know. I wish I could hug everyone of you.:grouphug:
:welcome: to Brandi! (That's my favorite sister-in-law's name!) You will love it here. These ladies (and I think there's one guy) are a hoot!

Congratulations!!! And glad you joined us :welcome:

:scared1: Holy Crap! That's great!

Oh ya, I lost 2 lbs this week!!!
So after the 2 lbs I gained last week, I guess I'm back to good! :yay:

Somewhere back a few million pages ago, we discussed ways to weigh in without weighing the girls...I am convinced I would drop a quick 20 without them!

That is too funny! I actually have a friend that did weigh hers...I didnt ask how and I can only imagine, but she said thery were 10 pounds EACH!:rotfl2:

Congrats on the loss!!! 2 pounds is great!

but I did manage to drink water like I should and I only drank one coke a day which is huge for me.

Thanks for the update! I'll start packing up the parkas! ;) :rotfl: Well, not really since we did have snow this morning. I'm glad to know that we will have an early spring. Although I think he predicted that in 1993 when we had that blizzard, so I guess he isn't always accurate. :confused3 :rotfl: :rotfl2: I just think it is a lot of fun.

For you purple Dyson owners - Do you have the animal model? Also, how heavy is it? Am I going to get a work out from vacuuming because it is so heavy? :rotfl: It just looks like it might be heavy. Now that I have two dogs, I am having to vacuum ALOT!!!! You can PM me if you want to, so as to not tie up this thread with vacuum talk. ;)

then he will train in SD till next week.

Usually, you guys perk him up, so I hope he will be coming back on line!

Where is he going in SD? My entire family is there, including the sis that I'm trying to talk into joining DIS...... I hope he pops on from time to time. It's hard enough to be away from your family without being totally isolated from every one you like as well.

But I hate how expensive all their food is - I mean, $7 for smoothies? :scared1: Wow.

I hate how expensive diet food; and healthy food in general is. We only pay $3.12 for a 4 pack of smoothies. Too bad they need to be refrigereated otherwise, it might make sence to have some one ship them to you.

Our cat has decided she soes not like the litter box anymore--even more of a reasonto get rid of carpet :rolleyes1

{putting on my work hat for a moment} Have you had kitties urine checked? Sometimes when they get a UTI they don't want to use the litterbox. Not all kitties have bloody urine when they have a UTI. She can also have cystitis which is an inflammation of the bladder or urinary tract. Urinary issues are always very hard. You (the humans) are miserable because you're always cleaning up kitty urine and kitty is either ill or having behavior issues. If it's behavior, you want to be mad at her but still love her. We actually have a few kitties we've had to put on anti-depressants for their problems. {Ok, I'm back to being a normal human.}

I had a really bad afternoon at work today. Our new computer system had a 'hiccup' and we had to have it reloaded from the parent company and lost almost 7 hours of work. I was supposed to leave at 5 but had to start over and re-enter all my notes from today's patients. I was there until 6:30. I did not stress eat though. I stood my ground.

I'm going to really push myself to get on the TM this week. I haven't used it much at all since we got back from WDW and I need to exercise more. I'm happy that I lost the wt I re-gained and it took me about the same amount to time to take it off a second time. I guess I can officially have my 5 lb ribbon!

We talked about the Dysons a lot at Christmastime. The purple one is the animal one. It isn't very heavy and rolls like a dream. I am so happy with ours. I don't think I've found one person who regretted purchasing one. I have more critters than you and we don't have nearly as much loose hair floating around anymore.

Hi everyone!

aries you should get your book Monday.

Dr visit went good. Saw the nurse practicianer. (?)

My Dr was doing rounds at the Hospital. Which I expected he always did that on Friday.

But he was called as soon as we left and given a message and he called me on our way home. He was optomistic because he recently had a case similar to mine and they were expecting the worse during surgery and everything went fine. When knowledge of what happened last time we can be better prepared this time. He said there's nothing we can do until delivery time so just concentrate on a healthy pregnancy. He's really great. The first thing he said was, "How did this happen" with a laugh and I blamed it all on Tim. He congratulated me because he knew deep down I wanted one more. See they do listen and they do remember.

So, with that weight lifted I can move on and concentrate on other things.

Like my research paper!

Off to the library, but first I have to make dinner.

Have a great weekend!

OH! I didn't gain anything yet. So, I'm happy with that.

I'm so glad everything went well at your appointment today!:thumbsup2

Did you mail your book to Aries or to me. I think you were supposed to send to me and I was to send to Aries! I sent mine to Aries and haven't received a book from anyone yet!

I didn't have time to catch up and can you believe I had to like WORK all day at work!:lmao: I was the lunch lady. But I was cooking stuff that was not a temptation for me.

I am at 0 pounds for this week. But I am actually fine with this, I expected a gain with the steriods, AF, and hardly a colon breeze for 2 day. What do do? I have had 3 glasses of warm water with Metamucil and 3 cups of coffee today! :confused3

I have a quick praise report! My DH is on his way home from AL where he went and picked up my new car! This is a huge blessing. I have been driving my Dodge Stratus for almost 11 years and it has had it. One of our goals this year was to get me a new car and pay off all of our debts. Well, a couple of months ago we found out that all of DH and mine's student loans were forgiven because of Katrina. About $40,000, not counting interest! It was totally unexpected.

Then we found out DH's aunt was selling her 2002 Kia Spectra for less then blue book. She said she wanted us to have it and she gave it to us for $2,000 under the blue book. Then she said we could just pay whatever each month. We told her we were going to sale our car and give her that money (hopefully $1500) and she said no, to just use that to fix up our Suburban. Isn't God great! Totally unexpected! We went so many years wondering why we struggled so much financially. We just kept praying, tithing, and believing that everything the enemy had taken from us would be returned seven times what was taken! God is always faithful.

To celebrate we are going out to eat tonight - I will be good. My DD asked if she could eat real food tonight. :rotfl: I thought we had been eating pretty good. I have cooked a lot and we have spent a fortune on food this week!

Pigget came by our center today. Hey Heather! :wave2: She is prettier in real life than she is in her pics!

Have we heard from Monique today? I thought of her and her Dr. appt. today. I guess I will go read and catch up.

Still catching up!

I would love to have the recipe for the zero point soup!!!!

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: CONGRATULATIONS LOSER & SAMERS!!!:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Snow, snow, snow.......

School is NOT canceled and SHOULD HAVE BEEN. And it's still snowing! I just spent 35 minutes driving 2 of my kids to their schools in my neighborhood!!!! All surrounding counties are closed. Tried to fire off an email to the district but the web site is either down or more likely...too busy.

I even witnessed an accident on the way home from driving DD to her high school. Two teens tapped the brakes in a curve and hit an adult driver. I just want to let someone know that teenagers in cars on snow are actually the weakest link in the transporation chain when it comes to calling off school. :sad2:

Thanks for listening. :thumbsup2

Where do you live? Lucky!

Lynda, thank you for sharing your story . It made me realize that things could definatley be alot worse.

Still praying for your family. It is very hard to watch someone you love be in pain.

I love my Dyson!!!! I want to Marry it!!!!!

The only thing is, the belts are on back order. My DS6 vacuumed up his plugged in game boy charger and broke the belt. So we're using it on "no roller" mode which is STILL better than my old vacuums like Hoover, Bissell, etc. It SUCKS!!!! (;) )

I LOVE barley! I 'll have to cook some to add to my zero point soup in case I want it to be a little more filling

I want a Dyson! It seems like every vacuum we get just doesn't do the job!

Hi Peeps! I'm sorry that I've been MIA for a few days! I've got sooo much to catch up on. Be-lated Happy Birthday! and Welcome! to the Peeps that I've missed! I promise to do better in keeping up with you all!

Today's weigh in results:

-1 pound for a total of 2.5 in 2 weeks. Not terrible, considering that this week I fell off the wagon and it ran over me a few times. :sad2:

I hope you all have a great weekend! :hippie:

-Michelle

P.S. I've got a purple Dyson, too, and I LOVE it! Best vacuum I ever had!

We have missed you! Good job on the weight loss!

:scared1: Holy toledo! In one week! You rock!! What did you do?

I have been gone for a few days so there is no way I am going to "talk" to everyone that I want to talk to.Some things that stand out...
Denecarter..YOU GO GIRL!!:woohoo:
Stacey, cogratulations on the new car.:) I am so jealous,my van is falling apart.
Monica,I am soo glad you had good news.

Everyone that has lost this week CONGRATS and those who didn't keeep on keepin' on.

I got my ribbon!! I have lost 16 1/2 lbs and am still wearing the same jeans...guess that tells you how tight they were.

I have just made reservations for two weeks at the beach this summer and I want to reach my goal(not quite sure what my goal is..I guess I will know when I get there)and stay there. It is VERY hard for me to maintain a weight. In the last eleven years I have weighed as high as 205 lbs(I am 5 ft 4 in)and as low as 127 lbs.

Someone mentioned getting a Dr.s note saying an acceptable weight for WW,that is what my dad was going to do but unfortunately he did not get there. He lost around 125 lbs but still had a ways to go when he stopped.

Well Rachel has found a pacifier somewhere so I have to go take it away and comfort her.I took it away last October(NIGHTMARE) but she keeps finding the things and LOVES them.

OK! I hope I got everyone! I read the whole days worth twice so....

Group grand total -27 1/2 lbs gone forever!

I want to know what DeneCarter, JnEsWDWMom, and Dance did! I need motivation! (Can we call you three the BIGGEST LOSERS?????)

Congratulations to ALL the losers! Keep up the good work! And it sounds like you are WORKING hard at it!!!!!

To all the Samers and Gainers....THIS will be YOUR week! You can DO it!!!! :cheer2:

I've eaten so much fiber, I 'm having BLOOD in my B.M's! Is that normal??? It's kind of alot. Well, no more Colon Blows this week. That has me worried.

No that would be what we call NOT normal.I personally think a call to the Dr.would be in order.Anyone else agree with me??

I KNOW! It's only when I eat tons of fiber. I think I'm over doing the fiber. It's the Fiber One type wood chips that's scrapping my insides. I'll call my Dr's nurse tomarrow. Oh, tomarrow's sat. Ok, I'll think of something. Also, I have a lower back pain (the PMS kind) and my inner right hip hurts (it has for months, the Dr. wasn't worried) I just need to go in and stop wondering!

Thanks Amy, you're right, I know.

I'm sure it is just the massive amounts of fiber you have been subjecting your self to, but it is better to be safe than sorry.

Amy, I just noticed that we picked the same smilies for our oldest children. :music: I think there is a theme here...teenagers who put on their head phones, lock themselves in their rooms, and pretend that the rest of us don't exist. Mo only comes out when she wants me to buy her something!

Oh, speaking of buying stuff...she got her Pink DS at Wal-Mart. :yay: Spent every last bit of her birthday money on it, but she is happy. She is currrently holed up in her room playing with her fake dog:dogdance: ....maybe she'll quit asking for a real one now...
