I love my Dyson!!!! I want to Marry it!!!!!

The only thing is, the belts are on back order. My DS6 vacuumed up his plugged in game boy charger and broke the belt. So we're using it on "no roller" mode which is STILL better than my old vacuums like Hoover, Bissell, etc. It SUCKS!!!! ( )


I LOVE barley! I 'll have to cook some to add to my zero point soup in case I want it to be a little more filling

I am trying to talk DH into buying us a Dyson.. The people that clean out carpet have one. I had just vaccumed the carpet before they came. He got this out and used it on our carpet and I was amazed at how much yuck was still inour carpet. I HATE CARPET!! We are thinking of adding on-clsoing in our porch and if we do then we will have hardwood throughout and capret only in the bedrooms. I can only wish. Our cat has decided she soes not like the litter box anymore--even more of a reasonto get rid of carpet

Have any of you actually done the sedation dentistry? What was it like?

This web site seems very informative but you'd probably have to ask your local dentist exactly what he uses to "sedate" patients as I'm sure it varies.

I never heard your review of the pirate/princess party. We need details!!!

Scale hop on Wednesday said 2.5 lbs, but I also barely ate on Tues since I didn't feel well. So, I'll take 1 lb!!!

No loss-no gain again but I will take it. Maybe I am gaining muscle so not losing weight (that's my story and I'm sticking to it). DS 12 started a paper route last week and I have been helping him with that-not just driving (can't have him out by himself at 4:00 in the morning) but also delivering. I am definitely feeling it in my upper arms and my lower legs. Also, yesterday I put on a pair of pants I haven't worn in a year and had no trouble zipping them up . One more thing, my bra strap keeps falling off my shoulder and I'll take that as a sign of weight loss (thanks Pixiedust)

Thank you, thank you very much! My weigh-ins are on Mondays... so I've been "sitting" on it since then.

Also, yesterday I put on a pair of pants I haven't worn in a year and had no trouble zipping them up

That is awesome! I was excited today because I wore a buttoned shirt actually buttoned and not just over my usual tank top underneath it.

lexmelinda - ask and you shall receive! Here's a little recap of the Pirates and Princess party and the rest of the bday weekend.

The P & P party was awesome. If they had it again next year and I was able to go I would definitely do so. We arrived right at 7:30 with my nephew dressed as a Pirate and my niece as Sleeping Beauty. We got our wristbands and these cute little black velvet pouches that said "Magic Kingdom Pirate and Princess Party 2007" or something like that. You'll have to use your imagination because my camera was giving me issues the whole weekend so I got very few photos. I did use Photopass at the party - if there is a way to get those on here, let me know and I'll try to post some pics. Anyway, we got our free stroller and headed down Main Street. All the CM were dressed as in the pirate or princess theme regardless of what land they were in. We went to Fantasyland first and got some treasure (aka free candy). I thought they were just going to give the crappy cheap candy but this was the good stuff! Hershey's in assorted flavors. And they gave you a lot of it too. They also had raisins. There were lines for beads that rivaled Soarin' or Space Mtn so we passed on those. Then we hit the dance party right behind Dumbo where the kiddos had a blast dancing with Flounder and all his friends.

After a few more treasure stops, we managed to find a spot for the parade. I loved the parade. It was neat to see the Pirates but the parade itself was a little short and slightly dominated by Princesses. Either way I liked it. Oh and Tinkerbell, as in a real life person, is in the parade. She's sitting on top of a huge treasure chest. And they had actual horses in the parade too in the Princess Court. And poor Jasmine actually had to ride side saddle on one of them during the parade. I say "poor" because I'm guessing she was rather uncomfortable - I think I would have been.

After the parade we hit a few rides and treasure stops. We wanted to meet Jack Sparrow but the line was an hour! So no Jack for us. The lines for the rest of the rides were practically walk ons and I regret not riding a few more that night but we got some in, did a little shopping and popped a squat on the bridge leading from main street into tomorrowland to watch the fireworks. Okay. This is the best part of the night. This was the best fireworks show I've ever seen at WDW. Even surpasses the MVMCP fireworks. The fireworks are completely themed to the music and storyline and Tinkerbell takes her flight about half way through. (I was bummed because I thought she came out at the beginning but was so happy I almost cried when I saw her flying!) Actually I did get teary. Firework shows always make me that way. After that I'm not quite sure what we did but we didn't stay too much longer. We hopped a boat back to WL and poor Claire (DN) fell asleep in her princess dress. We undressed her and re-dressed her and the next morning she didn't even remember us taking it off LOL. All in all a very fun time.

The next day was all MK and we celebrated my DNephew and DNiece's birthdays as they were just a couple weeks prior to our trip. I have some pics from our lunch at Crystal Palace and Breakfast the next morning at Whispering Canyon:

Right before the waiters grabbed the cake and started eating it! The expession on the kids faces was priceless:

I have to go back and catch up still, but I've been very busy and wanted to post my loss of 1 lb for UM. Brings me down to 238.6, so 11.4 lbs. lost so far. I want that 15 lb. ribbon! I have to kick it up a notch this next week! More exercise for me, I guess.

Lynda, thank you for sharing your story . It made me realize that things could definatley be alot worse.

I'm doing ok this morning, sad but I feel good. My sister got here at 4a.m. so I've been up since then trying to catch up on things. Thank you for all the love and support! The pathology report came back yesterday and showed that the cancer is in her lymph nodes , so not long before it will spread everywhere. We are praying that she is able to have a peacefull and quick death. Wow, that sounds so harsh, but she's in alot of pain. I spent most of yesterday at the hospital and will do the same today. On the bright side I've been able to spend alot of time with family and appreciate how much they mean to me. A

Nope that doesn't sound harsh at all. It sounds loving and compassionate. I remember when m,y Dad had cancer and was in so much pain toward the end. Every night in my prayers, I would ask that Gos take him and end his suffering. It was most definitely a prayer of love! Love ya!

I am jumping on here really quick to let UM I am down 1/2 a pd .. congrats to all the loosers stay the samers and those who just tried anything it is better than nothing ..
UM don't be too hard on your self i know that you have been good about your eating . and ring around the rosies can sometimes be extreme excercise i have not been to the gym at all this week i need to get my butt back in gear.. i think excercise is a vice for alot of people.. don't be too hard on yourself

just count this as your flucuate week and say next week is a big loss week it took some of us a long time to loose anything just know that we are here for you and love ya... i hope that helps a lil
