So, today has been full of excitement. One of my best friends, who has been dating this guy for about 7 years, got ENGAGED! She thought it was never going to happen, and that she wouldn't have kids because she refused to have them until they were married. I am sooooo excited for her!!!:yay:

And...DH and I made a little purchase today in the form of 100 Animal Kingdom Villas DVC points! Added to our existing 150 at SSR, we now have 250 points! So, we shouldn't have to borrow anymore. :) :cheer2:

Then, I came home, and what is waiting for me, but a recipe journal from our BEE-loved Bee! So excited Bee! I can't wait to add to your book and send it on its way! :) :goodvibes

Congrats on your purchase!

Glad you got he book!

Grumy and I are gonna start selling that plastic product that is sold at home parties, so we can buy DVC.. so PM me if anybody needs anything. :rotfl2:

I am really sick, so I am laying low:faint:

Ugh! One of the shelves in the pantry just fell. :sad2: I will have to wait for DH to get home and hold the puppy so I can assess the damage and pick things back up. I know it was the shelf with all the cat and dog treats on it. I hope things didn't get mixed up!

:rotfl2: Thanks! Good luck with the plastic stuff!

Hope you feel better soon! :grouphug: Say hi to Grumpy for us!

Bee, I hope you feel better soon. Can your girls give you a hand?

Evenin' Peeps!
Just returned from my first official WW meeting. It felt good to be there and the leader seems like someone that will keep me motivated. I had the problem in the past and I just wasn't "feelin" the leader so I stopped going. Weighing myself - whoa. But it wasn't a huge surprise since I've been weighing in at home. However, my last weigh in at WW that was on my card was about 40 lbs ago which was slightly embarassing. But I'm back now and ready to rock and roll. I'm probably going to change my ticker to match my WW goals so it might look different.

I know a lot of Peeps have been and are having a rough week so pixie dust and prayers to all of you. Even if you don't need it, take it for later.

OK, so I just cleaned up the pantry mess, and I have discovered that our pets are SPOILED!!! :rotfl2: And when I was done picking up the 15-ish bags of different kinds of treats, I said, "Oh, Jasper is out of Canine Carry-Outs!" :rotfl:

Thanks, Cheryl! What kind of pampering? He has a prostate infection! :rotfl:
I wasn't thinking of THAT kind of pampering, Stacey :rotfl2: More the "Oh, honey, I'm sorry you're feeling yucky, can I bring you anything from the kitchen while I'm up" pampering.

I have a funny--at least I think it is funny--Last night DD started Prednisone (sp) and cingular for asthma--the prednisone I usually give at morning, but we has to give it in the pm yesterday b/c we got it so late. Anyway I gave all meds at 5:00. We get home from church and she gets ready for bed. She put on jogging pants to sleep in and a t shirt. Well this morning she gets up and says, "Mom, something strange happened last night." I am thinkging Oh, God please do not tell me you started. Well, thankfully that was not it. Anyway she continues, "Someone put my shirt in the toilet!:crazy2: and I went to bed with jogging pants on and now I have on jeans." :rotfl2: I told her baby, you walked around in your sleep. Now, where is that shirt!:rotfl2: I put it in my shower. Ok. The end. I tried not to laugh in front of her, but I did.
Pigget, I have had some strange effects from prednisone, but nothing like that! Mine run more toward the "I can't fall asleep, think I'll stay up all night reading" feeling and "man, am I hyped up"! When I took Singulair, I woke up with red spots on my face. Hope your DD has a better night tonight. Poor thing!!!

What does McDonalds put in their food that makes you crave it???

They put Crack in the fries - I'm convinced of it!

Remember how I posted I was up 3 lbs. this morning? I'm SO glad I did weigh myself because it was a mini-wake up call.

That's wonderful! Sometimes we need a good swift kick to get back on track and is sounds like that is exactly what it was for you!!! :cheer2:

I made devil's food cake and diet black cherry vanilla coke. Very good, people at work were surprised. Here is my question though. I made 24 pancakes, so do you go by the 12 servings thing or is it actually more serving with less calories?

Pancakes?!?! Am I missing something? :confused3

Here's my whiney post. Last night, DD had to take me to the ER because I was in extreme pain with an ear infection. Let's hear it for kids with drivers' licenses. The doctor put me on amoxicillin and tylenol w/codeine. A couple of hours later the pain ratcheted up to a 10, then it sounded like the fireworks at WDW, then my eardrum ruptured. It was very nasty, but the pain level actually went down once the drum perforated. I tried to get up to go to work, but was so dizzy and nauseous, I had to have DH help me call for a sub and put me back to bed.
The upside to this: codeine and no appetite. I've had lemon ginger tea, 1/2 banana, a pb and homemade jam sandwich, and a 100 calorie pudding. Let's hope I get some permanent weight loss with my temporary hearing loss.

Nitey night, all. And yes, you all matter. I lift you up in my prayers everyday.

Sending you hugs and prayers to make you feel better! Keep your chin up!:grouphug:

Danielle - You may be the only other one on here besides me, but I have to tell somebody.

It is snowing at my house!

That's Awesome! They were predicting freezing rain for us last night, but it missed us. All the kids were very disappointed when they had to get up and go to school this morning. (and I'll admit, I was hoping to get a couple extra hours sleep too!) :p

Oh my Goodness. I hope I didn't offend you by uses your cat's name as a cuss word! :guilty: I love the names Frik and Frak. Too Cute. We have four "fur sharks" ourselves.

Just chilllin' this morning 'cause we are on two hour delay for our "wintery mix." Yeah school closings!!!!:cheer2:

Fur sharks! I love it! We call ours Poofies. :cat:

Lately it seems to me when it rains, it pours . . . My grandfather passed away yesterday and even though he had been sick, I don't think any of us were really prepared because the doctors couldn't really say if he had months or years.

I really don't want to fall off the diet wagon because I've been trying so hard and doing so well, but I know the next few weeks will be a challenge for me and my family. My dad has been laid off now for almost 6 months, and it was his father, and so my DH and I have been so supportive of him lately both emotionally and somewhat financially to help my mom get him through his unemployment and now this. My DH is going to Columbus on Sunday night for 3 weeks for his nursing home administrator's licensing, and my parents have been offering for me and our dogs to come stay with them while he's gone . . . So he basically things I should stay with them at least next week with all that they're going through because it seems like they really want me there. In addition to all of this, I went to the doctor Tuesday night because I've been having a cramp in my calf for the last couple of weeks, and the good news is that it isn't a blood clot, but somehow I seriously injured it so now I'm on like three different medications and not allowed to exercise for at least two weeks or so.

I just don't know where to turn, and I appreciate all of my peeps here for keeping me laughing and upbeat, and of course the support. I'm really gonna try to stick to my diet and perhaps even walk on the treadmill at my parents a bit just to keep active, but I appreciate any suggestions and words of wisdom from you guys to help me take it one day at time!!

Lots of prayers for you!!!! God will see you through these tough times!

I need ideas for superbowl Sunday--I am going over to another families home and that coulple is on WW, but none of the other families are. HELP!! I want to take fun stuff, but also something that I know that I can have. I knew you guys could help me.

The Weight Watchers website has a whole bunch of ideas for Superbowl Sunday snacks...maybe you can find something there.

What about Redneck Caviar? It is a good snack and is pretty low cal.

Just returned from my first official WW meeting.

Awesome! Welcome to the WW club! It's a great place to be a member! :goodvibes

Happy Birthday DJ!!!! party:

And to whoever it was that asked, no, I did not use my :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc to get beads!!! But I did :love1: a pirate: on the cheek!!!

well here it goes, I'm Brandi, and I'm addicted to chocolate anything, which has made me "fluffy", okay, I got that off my chest and now that I am "out" of the hershey wrapper and have removed almost all of the chocolate from my house (except for the fat free sugar free pudding, hey I'm not THAT crazy, just a little;) ) I need help, and everyone here on hte DIS has been so sweet and kind with everything Disney I thought I would join you guys over here for a little support, and to give some in return as well.

UMama said weigh in is tomorrow so I will start my countdown to slim starting tomorrow. I have full access to all kinds of excercise equipment and a heated indoor pool, I just need to get off my "fluff" and do it, I don't want to be miserable for our upcoming trip so I need ot get with it and get back to some sort of exercise regime.Being cooped up in the house due to weather this winter would be a good excuse but I have a treadmill right here.

I really don't overeat, except when it comes to chocolate and breads (not together, unless brownies are considered bread :rotfl: ). I totally love the new sugar free fat free puddings, so that has helped with calories, but I still crave other chocolate, I honestly think it's genetic, my Gramma and my Aunt have the sane exact problem, LOL. AND I cannot seem to make myself drink water, the water here tastes awful.

Anywho, I look forward to gettign to know you guys and wish all of you luck in "disapearing"

Well, that is usually the kind of pampering DH is thinking of - even when he is sick. As a matter of fact, he said he was going to write on the dr.'s prescription that he should be "pampered" at least 4x a week to avoid anymore problems. :rotfl2: I am on steroids right now and the only side effects I am having is ravenous hunger - mixed with Aunt Flo hunger! Darnit! They keep moving my smilies!!:sad2:

They put Crack in the fries - I'm convinced of it!

Pancakes?!?! Am I missing something? :confused3

Sorry, I meant to say cupcakes. Late night posting....

Pretty good day food wise. I have been very hungry and even though I am eating plenty of fiber, water and metamucil...stuff is not moving as well as it should.

Me and DD exercised together for about 35 minutes. Treadmill and DDR. This is the first day since my hip problems that I felt up to it. It was fun.

Snow in Texas and Alabama! How is it missing Mississippi?

Oh, did I tell you guys, I have a Myspace now. One of my youth helped me make it. I am still working on it though. I am so hip!

A couple of you have mentioned myspace. I have one but I'd rather not post the link here so if you are interested in seeing it, let me know and I can PM you the link.

I have a very funny blog posted on myspace about my adventures in online dating (more like creepy, funny, and random emails). But I'm easily entertained so some may not think its as funny. Anyway, have a great night Peeps! Hope everyone wakes up a little skinnier!
