Just told my wife about the podcast move............she was so excited!!!! We both enjoy live podcasts and were a bit sad about not being able to attend the Disapalooza podcast..........but there's hope!!!
Actually Pete said it won't be at Islands of Adventure.........which was the original plan for the day after the Disapalooza event. No final decision has been made, however John did mention that they would put together transportation for those who booked Universal thinking the podcast would be there and get those folks to the new location..........I'm assuming WDW is the best bet ..........but can't be sure until Pete announces how they'll handle the podcast.
At the last US Disapalooza the podcast was the following day at the WDW Dolphin resort in the convention center. Totally bummed it wont be at IOA. Cant wait to hear where it will be.

I am curious how the Hogwarts Express will run during this fun event. When the train arrives at the other park, will we be able to stay on and do a round trip, or will we have to get off and get in line if we want to ride back?

This is my understanding since the parks will be closed.
I am hoping that we hear more about transportation from Disney to Universal soon. Trying to get plans made for Sunday but would love to be at the taping.
so maybe this is a weird question. and has nothing to do with planning or podcast at all. but i have been wondering. 900 people sounds like very few compared to what i assume a 'normal' day might be in Diagon Alley. Does anyone know how many people would normally be in Diagon Alley at any given time during regular park hours? Just out of curiosity?

The following Touring Plans blog link states capacity is 4000 people. Which puts Disapalooza at about 22.5% of full capacity........thats a good number for us!
Staying at the Porto Fino for the DISApolooza at Diagon Alley. This is our first "party" type event and the excitement is building!! We were lucky enough to get into a soft opening of Diagon Alley before it opened officially and were HOOKED!
I and my daughter (12) would love to meet y'all! Let me know if you're staying at PF and would like to walk on over together!
