DIS-type boards for other vacations?

Does anyone know of any DIS-type boards for other vacations? Places to talk about getting discounts, where to stay, etc.? Or even discount websites? Specifically, we're looking to go to Italy next spring (Naples or Rome), and I don't know the first thing about planning for it! And of course I'd like to go as cheaply as possible!

Hi snykymom! Have you tried tripadvisor.com? That's usually where I go when I'm planning a non-Disney vacation. They have forums where you can ask questions, get reviews of hotels and attractions, etc. For some of the larger destinations (I'm sure Naples and Rome would be included) you can download a city guide. Go poke around there for a while - I'm sure you'll find lots of info.

I second the suggestion of Trip Advisor. We are planning a trip to London and that site has been so helpful. Both the reviews and forums are gold mines of info.

I use tripadvisor all the time for hotel reviews. I completely forgot they have a forum. Thanks for reminding me.
