Dis snobs. What kind are you?

This thread is cracking me up! :rotfl2:

Of those you listed, I am a:
Don’t try to pass your over 3 year old for under snob
Don’t pass your over 10 year old for under snob
Car seats for babies and kids snob
Buy your infant an airplane ticket and bring the car seat snob
Breast feeding snob

I am also a "Don't say it's your birthday when it's not" snob, but I'm mostly a "If someone asks for opinions I'll give them, just because mine differ from yours doesn't make me a snob" snob. :rotfl: :rotfl:

The "holier than thou" snobs are the only ones that bug me.

What about the "don't pick on overweight people" snobs? I'd have to say I'm one of them....yes, a snob AND an overweight chick!

I'd like to start a "don't discriminate against big-butts" snob group too. I used to think that it was just that my backside was getting bigger when the airline seats and movie seats started to seem smaller. But NOW I know it isn't just me! I went to an older movie theatre over the weekend, and my butt fit JUST FINE.

I think the chair makers are discriminating against the American public. They're probably in cahoots with the Victoria's Secret models.... :teeth:

And oh, BTW, DIS PhD, I really was just playing with you about the grammar. I usually don't poke fun at someone's grammar unless he/she is on a high horse about something else!

hi
dressing in good clothes for wdw. snob
comparing the standards of wdw and its guest now with 20yrs ago snob
eating at ponderosa and enjoying it. inverted snob :guilty: :bitelip: :snooty:

:rotfl: :rotfl: I knew you weren't. If I was really self concious about my spelling on line I don't think I would have as many posts as I do.

You guys rock, you are coming up with some really good ones. Even ones I forget.

"Don't say it's your birthday when it's not" snob :rotfl: :rotfl: That is a great one. I should add some of these to the oringal list!

I remembered a really big one. Anti smoking and I will smoke were ever I darn well please snobs! That is is big one, how in the world did I forget that?

I'm an adult-without-kids snob sometimes, too, because I don't think being a kid or having a kid entitles anyone to having any more fun at WDW than people without. ;)

Finally, I'm a teacher snob. Any thread attacking teachers, I'll jump right in to our defense!

That is a good one too. I forgot that one. I used to be one of those, now I have crossed over the other side. However I have fond memoires of being one of those.

Oh and I was a teacher for a while too. Darn hard job. I repsect those snobs!

Could I be the defender of the underdog snob? I'll defend the underdog in almost any argument. It doesn't matter if I agree with them or not. I just can't stand to see anyone getting picked on. I'm a marshmallow!

OK, I used to be a "don't take your kids out of school to go to WDW" snob.

I am reformed.

Just today I said to my coworker - Life is too short!! Go to WDW for the week over Memorial Day and have fun. (her DD is in 4th grade) I can just tell I will be inundating her with information, too. :flower:

I think I am a little guilty of this myself. In fact I think I can remember a few times where you and I worked together on some posts! :goodvibes

"don't take your kids out of school to go to WDW" snob. That is a good one, I forget that one. I am "family is more important then a week of school snob." (as long as your kids are doing well in school and don't miss much otherwise.)

At least we aren't "can't laugh at ourselves" snobs :rotfl: :teeth:

DVC snob
eat on property snob
WDW is for adults also snob
Put your cranky crying out of control kids down for a nap snob
Don't you dare litter snob
Don't even think about smoking in a nonsmoking room snob
CMs are allowed to have a bad day snob
Don't complain about the prices snob

wow, I am really not an angry bitter person... promise ;)

I am just starting to explore the community board and LOVE it. Full of friendship and opinions. I am an underdog snob too, can't help it (the social worker in me) and I know I aggravate some. Also, I am definately a WDW is the best place for families snob. Many of my friends and relatives think I am crazy going so much so I had to become a snob about it. WDW rocks. Finally I am a staying onsite snob. It just works so much better for me!

Hey I am a social worker too (currenlty SAHM, but have a MSW and worked in mental health as a therapist for while.)

I think that is one of those common ground things here, we all know how great of place WDW is and keep going back when our friends and family think we are a little nuts. (more then a little.) :rotfl:

Resort snob here, have to stay on the Epcot side, never leave the property snob as well.

Pagan Moon -
You can come to our (public) high school holiday performance. You would be very welcome. I love my kid's choir director. He tries to incorporate every type of music for the kids.

This year will be a mix of music from all many areas; holiday, classical and different religious selections, including one group doing a Wiccan piece.

Woo Hooo !!! Thank You.... I'm appreciated again ... :goodvibes
