Does anyone else feel like the Dis Roundtable host is pretty negative about Disneyworld? I often hear him say how bad the service is, but I just don't see it. I've only started going since 2000 and Im sure he's referring to the service before then, but either way, I still think Disneyworld is way ahead of anyone else in terms of customer service. Customer service isn't always about having someone kiss your butt and go above and beyond their duties. Sometimes its something as little as having your 23 yr old girlfriend wear a tiara and be referred to as Princess. That is what happened on my last trip. My girlfriend saw a bunch of young girls wearing those mini tiaras and said she wanted one ( she wanted to be a princess too ). So we bought her one and as soon as castmembers started seeing her wear it, they started referring to her as princess and asking her if I was her prince, etc. This meant more to me than anything. I think it is absolutely amazing that castmembers at Disney realized that even though she was a grown adult, they could still let her be a princess. I agree that there are going to be issues with customer service at Disneyworld, especially with its size, but I still think its the happiest place on earth. Customer service doesn't even always include a person, customer service is spending $15,000 on a fireworks show ( Wishes ) for your guests because you feel their worth it. Oh well, Im gonna stop ranting.
