My all time favorite memory is that infamous Splash Mountain ride. To this day, I will say "it wasn't me". LOL LOL LOL I don't think I've ever laughed so hard!

I was hoping this thread would still be active.

Last time I was here I was getting ready to leave for a trip with my almost-3yo. Jim surprised me this morning with plans for another trip. We'll have a 6yo, nearly 3yo and an 8mo this trip!! We're moving back to Georgia in December and we're headed down December 10. I am THRILLED.

Its nice to be back "home" here. Look forward to spending more time here in the coming months!

I am still on the boards regularly and have been to WDW every year since I joined the boards back in the olllldddd days.

I don't have a WDW trip planned right now oh the horror....but we are a little cruise obsessed right now

I am glad the DIS boards are still here after all these years....I am currently enjoying the Budget boards a lot.

Ray Sharpton! OMG, it's nice to "see" you, and how like you to remember all
those details!! One of my many memories of our meetings
was the lovely gift of a hay-ride through Fort Wilderness that
you gave several of us at DISCon2. That was fun!

I still visit here from time to time, but nothing like I used to. I agree though, that it is nice to still have the DIS around!

I'm still here too. I'm mostly on the Wish board since I completed two 1/2 Disney Marathons.

My kids are grown, 1 married(Miranda) and has a daughter, the love of my life. My son Nicholas was engaged last December 1st under the Osborne lights at MGM. Now THAT was an exciting night.

This year our trip in December will be just Mark and I. Nick and his df Hope are planning a December /11 wedding at Seabreeze point. The go down to Disney to meet with their wedding planner in November.

Lots in my life but disney is always in my heart.

Just wanted to get a thread going, would like to see a lot of the 'oldtimers' from here on the CB, or other boards here too, who maybe have lurked more of recent than in the past, stop by and say hello. Sometimes threads like this start out, in the direction sort of a complaint, one thing leads to another, and then they poof it. As I read those, it's always nice to see folks coming out of the woodwork, so to speak, and say hello, but then they are gone and so are the DIS'ers for the time being.

So, I ask, please, not to make this a 'b' session, but rather just one to say 'hi'. Obviously, if it goes in the other direction, it will

So, I think this is a harmless enough start, let's see some old faces. I know you are out there, because you pop in on these type of threads when they arise, or others that touch the emotions. Stop by, say hello, maybe meet some new folks along the way too. And if it stays 'nice', I would think the thread will stay too.

Okay, who all is out there? And if you are not a lurker, say hello too, open to anybody.

I remember.

I think their sitter was Yasmine (or Jasmine?) and when DixieAmos was tired Yasmine would have to get on all fours so she could sit on her... or she would make the kids get out of the stroller & push her for awhile.

I loved her trip reports.

Oh, My Gosh. Brings back so may wonderful Disney Moments. As you see from my post count I am more of a lurker then a joiner. I remember so many of you Dan, one of the nicest people to ever meet. Ray and his electric cart. He is a very thoughtful soul. I wondered what ever happened to town crier and his family. I followed one or two Disney weddings planned by some of the Disers of the dis-meet.

This summer I am taking my family to DL. The magic will live on with my grandchildren. I hope it will be the beginning of "their" love for Disney and the magic of believing in any thing is possible if you just try.

Ten years pasted so fast.
