Dis Old Fogies Clubhouse – Six of One, Half Dozen of the Other. Makes No Difference!

I guess I fit right in here. I am over 30 for sure.

We just got back from a Universal only trip (long story but we have never done Univ. only and it really felt strange not doing Disney!)

I am definitely feeling the age. It was nasty muggy hot in FL and there was a lot of walking. I am beat. We just got home about an hour ago. Keeping up with teens is not easy, but the good news is that I can say, "Go ahead and go to X ride while I drink this latte, I will catch up later." The bad news is that I often like the rides more than they do and don't want to miss out, but physically just can't keep up.

I didn't go outside at all today, well to bring in our Expo merchandise and put the scooters in the garage to charge their batteries. Long Beach hit a record today with a high of 99 degrees.

We're going out to the park tomorrow. Our Art guy is out for the Expo and he and his wife are taking us to dinner at the Blue Bayou. Not my favorite choice for dinner, but they chose. Hopefully I can get the other bills done tomorrow before we go.

It was scorching when I left the Expo after we parted that afternoon. It is still warm out here tonight but not as bad. At least I won't have to wear a lot of clothing if I go to the park tonight.

That is great that you be going to have dinner with your art guy tomorrow. We might go to the park tomorrow night since we will be done with the Expo in the afternoon of we don't stay to the end of the Expo.

Welcome to the thread! Hope you had a great trip to the Dark Side.

We did!

For having gone in August, when many are still out of school, we were surprised the crowds were manageable for the most part. Lots of single rider lines and overall not too bad.

Welcome to the thread! Hope you had a great trip to the Dark Side.

Busy week ahead for our family. :faint:

ScottyKitty has decided that his new perch is one of our sun room tables. :headache: I'm sure that by now, he believes his name is naughty kitty.

Well pull up a keyboard and relax for a while! Welcome!

Our week should be calming down I hope! Tonight at the park and then we'll be taking a break for a bit. This morning we had breakfast at Hometown Buffet. I did pretty good and only ate a couple carby things. Mostly I ate an omelet, breakfast meats and a salad. I did eat a little donette. I should be good until dinner!

A rainy Monday morning this morning. I managed to get another flower bed weeded out yesterday before the rain, so I'm pretty happy I made the effort to get out yesterday. DH and I have decided that we need to get our summer vegies in early this year. With all the El Nino talk, it could be a very hot summer. I figured earlier might be best.

Hope everyone is enjoying the end of the weekend.

Good evening Fogies.

What another long day at the D23 Expo and it is almost over but we decided to leave 2 hours before it is over. We just got out of Frozen FANdemonium seminar at 3pm and it was a nice one where we heard the song writers for the movie as well as Kristen Bell, Josh Gad, John Lasseter and the voice actresses of the young Anna. It was a memorable ending to the D23 Expo.

Welcome! We go to Universal for a day each time we go to Disney. I'm going with my YoYo Sisters in a few weeks, and we're undecided if we'll to go to Universal or just stick to WDW.

Sunday night over here. *sigh*

A whole new working week starts again tomorrow.
Happy Monday! :flower3:

Wow! It sounds like fun!

The YoYo Sisters trip to WDW is looming in the not too distant future. :jumping1: No, I'm not getting excited at all! party:

Today we are getting our driveway replaced/repaired. We have a huge/long/hilly driveway and it was gravel. We are getting new gravel but it is ABC stone that should be closer to concrete when packed in well.

We are also getting a ceiling repaired, the one that the termite guys dented in through the attic. ARGH.

And I am taking my 10th grader to Open House. He is attending school for the first time after being homeschooled. It should be a great year.

Good evening fogies!

Dawn - sounds like you're getting a lot accomplished at home. :thumbsup2

Too hot here...106 today...I'm melting.:sunny:

Yikes, where are you? My parents are in Phoenix and it has been that high there.

Hope your driveway looks good! And that the ceiling is all fixed.

Yay for your 10th grader attending school. Hope he likes it!
