Dis Old Fogies Clubhouse – Six of One, Half Dozen of the Other. Makes No Difference!

I talked to PiO and Alison about this and the opening are around the 45 day mark. I'm just looking to see if there is an opening. I also looked at breakfast Asa other option but I want to find a dinner reservation.

That's good they add some additional times. Good luck, I hope a dinner one pops up for you sometime.

Good evening Fogies.

It is quiet tonight. But I was able to get a reservation for BOG during my trip for dinner which I was looking for. It is on 10/20 at 6:05pm. Here is the downside, it is during MNSSHP and none of my party members want to do the party that night unless I can convince my aunt if she wants to attend MNSSHP or just go during the regular hours and have to leave the MK that night during MNSSHP. This is a tough decision.

Bret, could you just have dinner and then leave the park afterwards if your group doesn't want to do the MNSSHP?

I was thinking about that when I made the reservations today. I was surprise that there was an opening this afternoon. Just as you said that I could eat during the regular hours until we have to leave during MNSSHP. Now I need to ask my aunt if she wants to do that but I will try to ask her if she wants to reconsider. But after she went to MHP at DL last year when PiO and her family went with us she might not want to do MNSSHP.

At least you have the reservation for now and you can still explore other options. Even if you don't go to the party you'll still get to enjoy dinner at BOG.

That is the good news with the reservation. I still have other options as well since I am looking to find a reservation at Le Cellier at EPCOT. There are still other places that I want to try but it seems like everyone is not that interested on eating on property where they would rather eat off-site. After reading good reviews about BOG during dinner, I had to try it since I enjoyed eating at BOG during lunch.

Someday we need to go back to FL again so we can check out the new stuff. It's been a long time since we've spent more than one day at WDW.

YAY for getting a ressie!

Why don't you just do MNSSHP by yourself?
And just tell your Aunt that MNSSHP is different to MHP.

Bret, that's too bad your family doesn't want to do many meals on site at WDW. That's part of what I enjoy about a WDW vacay, is getting to try new places onsite. At least you got the BoG reservation.

Good morning Fogies.

Nice weekend and just a few more days until I am hitting the road again to the D23 Expo.

Hope you have a good Sunday Angela.

Have a nice time at the park Alison.

That is nice that you are waiting for your DF and parents Dana.

Thanks PiO. It is so hard to look on the threads and look every once in a while for a ressie for BOG.

I was thinking of doing that but the only issue is that we will have one car and I don't want to be stranded.

I did told her that MHP is different from MNSSHP from Mickey's Boo-to-You Halloween Parade and Hocus Pocus Villain Speltacular which MHP doesn't have. But DL has something over the MK which has the HMH and SPGG. I will talk to her about it if she is interested. But after experiencing a bad time during MVMCP, she might not want to do another party if it is cold in December 2010.

They have no problem eating once in a while on-site but the prices are quite high when you eat on-site compare to off-site which there are quite some good restaurants to eat outside of WDW. But we will wait and see what i twill be like. Same here, I have enjoyed eating at more different restaurants while in SoCal instead of eating those quick counters at the parks and fast foods. The good thing is that I do have the ressie for BOG and hope she will still want to eat there.

You can do HMH and SPGG without having to go to a Halloween Party at DLR.

In all honesty, I prefer MNSSHP over MHP. The parade is a killer!

If the transport is a problem, would you consider renting a car for a day or catching a taxi back to your resort? A taxi should be about $35 or less.
