We're now going into our fourth summer this fall. One too many whiners and Mother Nature turned the outdoor thermostat back up to 80. I've been losing weight and can now fit back into some fabulous (IMHO) fall clothes, but it's too blooming hot to wear them except outside in the middle of the night, which I am not doing. I'm too busy with insomnia then to bother with the outdoors!

Enough of my whining. It's someone else's turn. Next!

December is always a busy month so I'll wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year early too.

I've given up on Christmas this year! No lights or decorations for us. We have plans for Christmas dinner with friends, but other than that, we are just going to try and power through the season.

I've had so many DIS friends visiting since August it's been nuts. At first it was just every two weeks in August and September. Then we went to WDW in October and had our band concert. Then mid November we had friends at the Grand that we stayed with for four nights, and then people started coming every week. My parents, (whom we had to totally clean up the house for), and then more DISers every week thereafter. I don't mean to sound like a whiner, it's great having so many friends and they all come to town and we share a love of something fun! But I have so much laundry piled up and other chores and stuff that have been neglected, I need to catch up! Ahhhhhhhh!

Funny! Yes, there was a time. It comes and goes, but this year with the opening of Star Wars land everybody was coming to see it!

Hot!

Australia had the hottest average day ever on Tuesday this week. The average was 41 C.

That record will be broken today (Thursday) and again tomorrow (Friday).
We are expecting the temperature in Melbourne to hit 44 C tomorrow.



Anyone who doesn't think global warming is real.....come and visit!

Yikes, that's hot! I hope your air conditioning is working well. I don't enjoy those days when we get them either.

It's currently 41.5 C here. Expected top of 44 C. I think we are going to get very close to the predicted top.

A/C is holding up at work. Going to head home soon to see if it is holding up equally as well at home.
