Dis Old Fogies Clubhouse – Six of One, Half Dozen of the Other. Makes No Difference!

Have a great time YoYo at WDW.

Good luck with your pool Alison.

Happy planning PIO.

I was told this morning 2 more are joining our Disneyland trip, of course, the Halloween party we're going to is sold out and I was only able to add them to one of our dining reservations.

DH are heading out to dinner and maybe catch the fireworks from Old Sac.

Good evening Fogies.

I'm glad the weekend is over after three days of work at Sac Anime at the Sacramento Convention Center. I have been doing a lot of shows these last few months which is crazy.

Hope you have a great time YoYo at WDW.

Hope the pool issue is taken care of Alison.

It would have been fun to go see the fireworks from Old Sac during a River Cats game. More people for your trip which is interesting. Tickets for MHP are going out quickly where they are very popular and very expensive from last year. It will be interesting to hear what people think with PtN as part of the party where it is part of the regular park hours.

Hope you are doing well PiO.

Was the Sac Anime show good this weekend? Hopefully you can relax a little tomorrow.

Old Sac had the Gold Rush Days going on too.

We've had a pretty laid back weekend.

The show was good and crowded. I heard that at least 10,000 people showed up for Sac Anime. Not as big as Anime Expo or AX but still it was busy. Glad to rest tomorrow.

I forgot about the Gold Rush Days this weekend. I have been busy with Sac Anime where I just forgot.

Good to read that you got to relax this weekend.

 Hi Fogies.

Hope everyone is well.

I've been busy with work and then coming home to just chill-ax. It's spring here....blossoms are out.....but it's still pretty cold. My barometer over the last few years has been my Lapin Cherry tree. When that starts to sprout, that's when I think spring has sprung. So....despite all the other blossoms blooming, my cherry tree is still in tight bud and the branches are pretty bare. Although....I did notice a small sprig of green on Monday. So, maybe it's starting to warm up here.

I know I'm normally on the boards on a Thursday, which is tomorrow. However, I'm seriously considering doing a road trip up to do a little tip-toeing in a garden somewhere. It's the start of tulip festival. We'll see how the weather actually turns out tomorrow morning before I finally decide. Right now....I'm probably going to go.

Aside from that, life is pretty normal here. Work, sleep and lots of chauffeur duties. And the furbabies are a definite bonus to have around the house.

We're having another heat wave here so enjoy your spring weather, road trip and tip-toeing in the gardens.

Good morning

I forgot about the gold rush days in old Sac

How were the fireworks?

Bret hope the shows slow down a little for you

As kids get older the driving gets to be more and more.LOL
Sounds like Kitty's are doing well.

Oh I wish we would start some fall weather soon. I am so tired of all the heat.

Good evening Fogies.

It was quite hot today here in NorCal.

Hi @usnuzuloose - I was able to slow down but I had to work this week so I didn't have time to rest except for Labor Day.

I'm so tired. After a winemaker dinner at the club, we came home, loaded the rental car and drove to Santa Clarita. We got there at 1AM and went right to bed.

Fran got me up at 6AM and we were on the road by 7AM. The 152 was reduced to 1 lane due to a brush fine so we went up to the 580 to get across to the bay area. It probably added at least a hour to our drive.

We got there by 2PM picked up a Gyros and Souvlaki for lunch, changed clothes and got back on the road at 3:30 to drive to the city for an event at the WDFM. I was falling asleep in the car on the way there.

They served us wine and hors d'oeuvres before a presentation with some previews of the documentary which airs Monday and Tuesday next week. Now I'm having a hard time falling asleep.

 Morning everyone. Sunday morning and I'm having a lazy morning. I so need to catch up on the Dis!

Good evening Fogies.

The weather is getting a little better here in NorCal after being so hot these last few days.

I've had a couple of days to catch up at my parents, kind of. While we were here Fran arranged to pick up a Disney Collection that she found on eBay. It was reported to be 50 boxes. I'm guessing all in all it was 60+ boxes and I'm not faulting her for the decision, .we can probably make a killing on the resale, but getting it home will be a challenge. We need to leave some boxes here and come back in six weeks to pick them up. Now the fun is to figure out which ones to take now and which ones to leave.

Oooh! 60 boxes? What a treasure trove! Have fun working out what to bring back.

PIO I was thinking along the treasure lines too. Hope you find some great pieces.

I'm thinking I may need to go buy a new bed today so it's ready for when DH is discharged.

There's all kind of random cool stuff. Fran is repacking all the boxes before we transport them. We're on our way to Costco for more boxes since some stuff is packed in other kinds of odd size boxes. She found a "Donald Duck" orange juice in one of the boxes. There's all kinds of crazy stuff, some older than me!

What kind of bed are you getting? I hope he continues to improve.

That's like having Christmas in September.

I don't know yet, but I figured our waterbed would be too hard to get in and out.

Angela - Happy bed shopping! Glad that DH is getting better.

Alison - Hope that your treasure trove continues to excite you both! Sounds like you've got some great retro stuff there.

Bret, Jo - Hope you're both well.
