This really is a weird year for the ACC. You know something is fishy when the best teams include VTech, BC and UVa. GA Tech I fully expected to lose, although I have to wonder what would have happened if Florida State would have gotten that slot instead of GA Tech. Duke is just....

I have been a Notre Dame hater ever since the days of Digger Phelps. I remember seeing them lose to Pepperdine on St Patricks Day one year at the old Reynolds Coliseum in Raleigh back about 30 years ago. UNC won that day and ND got embarrassed. A fine childhood memory.

According to my MIL, it coded into the Catholic DNA. And the only reason my DS isn't a ND fan, is because my heathen DNA messed it all up and he roots for Michigan, of all teams. Oh well. It's not like I like his choice of teams either, but atleast he stayed in the Big10.
