DIS NCAA Bracket Challenge - Come discuss the tourney!

 It's finally thursday! I hope work knows that once noon gets here, my work efficiency will slow to a craawwwwllll. :rotfl:

Does anyone know if we can look at others brackets once they lock? I think we can right? I always like to see what some others have picked.

Good luck!!

We've never done a pool on Yahoo before but in past years on the USAToday website you could see everyone's picks after they were locked.

Yep, 6 is right:

Pitt, Marquette, Gtown, Lousiville, Notre Dame, and Villanova.

I think it should have been seven (Syracuse being the 7th). I finalized my picks today...I shouldn't be changing them again, but I'm sure I will sneak in something tonight. :rolleyes1

I thought it would be 7 too, but with W. Va. in it. Of course, I'm pulling for Louisville all the way, but realistically I think Georgetown will be hard to beat. DD19 will be at Rupp Arena today sitting 10 rows behind the goal hoping to get on TV. The Cards have a good chance against Stanford, especially if they can keep their running game and hit the 3's.

GO CARDS!

Thank you! Hope you all don't mind, but I joined. I've never done a pool before, but my DS12 is really into it this year, so I figured its time for me to learn :) No laughing, cause you all seem like you really know what you're doing! Of course, I just read in the paper someone saying no way can is the team I picked to win making it to the final four. Ohhhhh well :)

Disney44 Welcome..its all in good fun BUT the winner gets....

Nothing-Bragging rights maybe?

I changed on on my ESPN bracket-I cannot change the Yahoo one (will not) its the one I am using at work (which is all in good fun..nothing illegal there ;) )

Yes once play starts we can look at each others brackets...mine is Boopumpkins...please none of you hurt yourself laughing.

I am working from home today-So I will try to catch some of the games-I just wish DH had set up my wireless so I could work and watch...I am sure that is what the powers that be intended when we went mobile-right?

I have Lousiville winning today...I think playing in their backyard is going to set them over the edge and pull out a victory. In one of my pools i have them advancing to the sweet 16, in my other I have them losing in the 2nd round. I saw them play in the qfinals of the Big East tourney last week..they have alot of great talent!!

I'm thinking I might call in sick tomorrow. :rotfl: ::cough:: ::cough::

Enjoy the day! :) Keep us updated.

'm thinking I might call in sick tomorrow. ::cough:: ::cough::

It was 72 here Tuesday-I sent my manager an instant message (its the way we all talk when mobile) The message said...

Cough Cough...I do not feel so good....

The reply

Nice try...

But she laughed.

6, I believe :)

Thanks! Okay so the Big East has one up on the SEC. Just wondering. ;)

No boss today, perhaps I can sneak in some game watching.

I run a pool on CBSSportsline.com. It's so easy, but because we moved last week, I didn't have as much time to recruit players, so we've got a much smaller group this year which means a much smaller pot. I'm still hoping to hear back from a few more before tip-off today, but it's not looking good.

And I've hardly follwed the NCAA this year, so I have almost no clue who is playing or how they've done. I just know that our two teams: Providence and Seton Hall aren't in it. (My sister went to Providence and my FIL works at Seton Hall.)

Well, Pitino is downplaying the home court advantage today. He said Ohio State bought up so many tickets that they'll have the home court advantage and he also points out that Louisville played better on the road over the last month. Then there are the Kentucky fans who may be there and they'll root for anyone playing AGAINST Louisville.

Man, that WVU game was hard to watch but they kept their cool and pulled it off. But then they fell apart at the beginning of the second half against Pitt. I've got to find something to keep DD4 occupied after preschool this afternoon so I can be glued to the tv!

Thanks so much for setting this up! :thumbsup2 Being in a pool makes the games so much more fun! Dh came home yesterday saying he had to work on his pool picks for the office and I was kind of jealous thay I didn't have a pool to enter. Then today I found this thread.  Thanks again I really appreciate it!
Good luck to all!

I joined in the fun. Will have to see if I do as well at pick these as I did in the NFL pool I was in.

Give him a big box to play with...when I was younger, christmas mornings was spent by me playing with the boxes my toys came in. :rotfl:

Thanks for joining! Welcome to the game.

AHHH!!! Come on Maryland...I usually love the 13/4 upset but went with Maryland this time. :scared1:

If Maryland loses, my bracket will be splintered from the first game!!!

I can't watch, all I can do is keep refreshing the ESPN web page for the scores.
