Some cool historical papers in it but no value. Oh and several safe buffs yelled at op for cutting it up and then they got yelled at for being rude. Dis drama.

It was empty. Just a letter from a probate lawyer. Although the letter was interesting from a historical point of view, (the op took a pic and posted it) it certainly would have been nicer if their were a few gold bricks in it.

is there still a missing neighbor thread. This isn't the first one. There was one a year or so ago that ended with him showing up, having been out of town. I have never seen the current thread, only read of it on the safe thread.

Yep...I get sucked in, too. I closely followed Safe Watch 2008. I am also quite curious about the dead friend IM-ing. I completely missed the missing neighbor thread, though. I'm always up for a good mystery.

This one was really strange. I thought they were either some kind of weird drug dealers or they had grandma locked in a room and were keeping her social security checks, like something out of Desperate Housewives.
