Well, I'm off. Gonna go to bed, get up, go pick up the book, and won't be back on the DIS probably 'till it's finished. Just didn't want anybody to think I'd gone missing or anything...lol

I hope I don't have to take my eyes off Harry and the gang until I've finished the book. Yep, I'm a Harry Potter fool. Is there a 12 step program? We're going to need one after book 7!

DH works Saturdays. I have already made a deal with DS. We are heading out tomorrow morning, first thing, to get my book. Then off to Hollywood video, where DS may choose 2 movies and a PS2 game. He gets to play, and veg, I get to read and veg.

I may resurface sometime Sunday afternoon.........

Well, I am not so patiently waiting for DH to return with our copy. Okay, we had it reserved, but after DS was at band camp all week, we were just too busy and too pooped to go last night at midnight. So, he's on his way back with the book now and there's gonna be a fight...I tried to tell him to just order two copies, but no he won't listen so now DS, DH (who is the slowest reader because he analyzes everything) and I are gonna fight over who gets to read it first. Honestly, I think I'll have to schedule reading time...DH in the evening since he works, DS gets the mornings while I'm at work, and I get the afternoon. Naw...tomorrow I'm running out and getting my own copy. In any case, I know I'll be focused on reading, but I'll have to squeeze in some DIS time, too.

We went to the midnight madness last night and picked up 3 copies. My family has been engrossed most of the day but I'm limiting myself...I want it to last, but its not easy walking away from it. I had to force myself to stop at Chapter 7.

Got my copy last night and have been reading off and on since. I am trying not to rush through it though! Gotta make it last!

I will say don't read reviews online though! I read one that had way too many spoliers in it. Thanks to that one cad of a reviewer I knew who died before I was through with chapter 5!

Count me as a "missing person" too. I'm kinda taking my time w/it, but it's hard not to. I'm only stopping 'cause I don't wanna be in the middle of a chapter & my fiance calls me for our nightly chat.

Just finished it, did a reading marathon today. I had figured out who would die before I started the book, it's just logical. But still sad.

I'll probably read it again, after the other family members have had a chance.

Some complete idiot on another message board that I post in totally spoiled it in an innocent thread about when people were going to go get the book. I was hoping they were joking ,but now I am not so sure.

I really want to get into HP discussions to discuss while I am reading, but it seems impossible. So I am going to try very hard to read as much as I can now. I had to go to a BBQ all day and came home and just after page 100 I fell asleep. So now I am gonna dive back in.

Yeah, I wasn't surprised by who it was. That person had been my suspicion since she confirmed another "big death". The article didn't just say who but the circumstances of how too . I'm not there yet and I don't like knowing what's coming. It changes how I see things, kwim? I don't hold much hope that what they wrote was not correct.
