DIS member color ID

For an infrequent user of this DIS board, can someone tell me which green color Disney mouse ear paint chip they use to identify themselves? I didn't see any lime green chips at the paint store.

It seems the majority uses the Alien Green paint chip, that's the color I picked up at my local Home Depot.

I don't understand this at all. Can someone explain? I see that now at Home Depot they are carrying a whole LINE of Disney paint.

Lime green is the color DIS'ers have chosen to identify themselves with. It started with people putting lime green ribbons on their purses and fanny packs when they went to the parks and later on the cruises. When Home Depot came out with Disney paints and had the paint chips in the form of Mickey Head the Alien Green color was picked by most as the closest to the DIS green. Many people picked up the paint chips and used them to make buttons or to put on their lanyards to help identify themselves. I took two and put our DIS names and real names on them and and then laminated them and put them in the holder on my lanyard while we were at the parks last week and on our May cruise.

BTW - if Home Depot is out of Alien Green then Sonic Boom is a good 2nd choice.

I took a few chips of both of those shades from the Home Depot yesterday.
