Robby, we may book this cruise while onboard Jan 3. We will check this one because I would love to go to Grand Cayman again. We will also look into the Sept 12 to Tortola.
Sorry your new meet thread is slow. I hope it gets more active. Our thread for the Jan 3 is blah too.
BTW, What beach is that in your pictures with the red and white stripped towels & chaises?

That would be St. Martin over by Orient Bay. We LOVED it over there. It was kind of shady (I felt) driving over there with our taxi driver and then it was by luck that another taxi was coming by when we were getting ready to leave. But that beach and the view MORE than made up for it!!

Okay, all the photos make me want to go back too!!!! I haven't brought up changing our cruise yet. I'm waiting until after the holidays and when things wind down a bit. My Mom flies in on Christmas Eve and will be here through New Year's Eve. We leave this Saturday for WDW. I am just as excited about this trip as our first trip. I can't wait! I'm like the Dad on the Disney commercial "I can't sleep."

However, we now have a houseful of sick people. Bill, Will, Emily and Cole are ALL sick. I'm the only one not with my head in a toilet. They seem to have a stomach bug. I watched my nephew on Monday and come to find out, he was sick. My sister's whole family is sick. Well, now my whole family is sick. I'm running out of clean sheets and towels. My poor washing machine has been continuously running since last night. I hope to get everyone healthy before our trip.

Glad to see everyone's still cruising!

Jasmine's Dad moved here last week, so I've had the last couple weekends free. But I'll have her over Thanksgiving, and we're going to make another trip down to Disneyland Paris. That was a great time to go last year.

Since Jas will be with her Dad over the Christmas holidays, I booked a super cheap Carnival cruise over New Years to the Caribbean! Only $731 total for a single room for 6 nights!

I also made the Squadron Command candidate list, so I'm waiting to see if I get my own squadron next summer. I know that a couple Wing Commanders are considering me in their candidates for a Communications Squadron Commander. But I was also contacted by a Colonel who's hiring Recruiting Squadron Commanders. It sounds challenging and fun, so I put my name in the hat for that also. Hopefully I'll hear something by early January.

In the meantime, I STILL need to finish unpacking from all of our trips last summer.

Glad to hear you're doing well. Congratulations on the Squadron Command candidate list. Good Luck!!!!! I am sure you will be the one having to make a choice on what position to take come January.

Please give Jasmine our best. Every time Emily saw her on the DVC cruise, she cried, "There's Jasmine!" She was so excited to see someone she knew. We did bump into y'all quite a bit during the cruise. I hope we can cruise together again.

I just noticed you stayed at Port Orleans in October. How was the resort? We are staying at Riverside for the first half of our trip and then moving over to SSR for the second week. (If I've asked this before, please excuse me. I haven't slept well in days and our trip is fast approaching. I feel as if I forgot to do something major. But, I can't put my finger on it.)

I LOVED Port Orleans!!! It was GREAT atmosphere and really great area. Our room was PHENOMENAL.

The beach was GREAT!!!! But my retinas were burned for a while when a couple in their 60's walked by butt-naked.
