We live there:rotfl: Well I wish we did and the possibility frightens Randy!

I made reservations today to go camping the last weekend in May for my birthday. SOOOo excited! I have never stayed at fort wilderness before so we don't plan on going to the parks, just bike riding and renting boats and relaxing. Any camping tips for me? Im not very outdoorsy :rolleyes1

We've stayed there once in a 5th Wheel. It is really a cool place. Be sure to rent a golf cart to be able to see the whole layout. Also each night they show movies outdoors with a bonfire.

Something new they are doing is a Segway Tour of the camp grounds. Check it out. :thumbsup2 My DS and I are going to take this tour in September.

Wendy,
I am so glad you and Jas had such a good time!!! Your pictures are great!!!

Still in Disney.. Met with Emi & Randy for a few hours and went on some rides and had a nice Dis Reunion.. :thumbsup2

Wendy the pictures are AWESOME... thanks for sharing.. I can't wait for all our wonderful cruises to meet up with you two again..

:woohoo: We arrive at Fort Wilderness this Sunday. However we're cheating, we're staying in a cabin. :thumbsup2 Beth would be a great person to ask questions about "true camping" at Ft. Wilderness. They stayed there before our cruise. :thumbsup2 We plan to do the marshmallow roasting and meet Chip 'n Dale. Plus our kids love animals. So of course, we have to do the petting zoo and pony rides. When Emily gets older I want to do the horseback riding. I saw the Segway tour Brack mentioned in our DVC magazine last month. It looks really interesting. I'm curious if we'll see them whizzing by our cabin. :moped: (I know it's not a Segway. But, it is something moving.) I know they have boats you can take out to do fishing or relaxing. Bill was looking into that for he and Will. :cool1: Have fun Emi and Randy! :cool1:

Wendy,

:thumbsup2 Thank you for posting all the great photos. What a great view from your room. I don't think I've ever seen photos of Disneyland Tokyo before. It looks really interesting. How did it compare to the other parks? I think you've been to all but Disneyland Hong Kong now. Yes, I am very, very, very jealous. We head to the west next year (your old stomping grounds) and get to experience Disneyland and California Adventure with the kiddos. If you can give me any tips (along with anyone else who has been there), I'd greatly appreciate them. :goodvibes

Thank you again for the photos.

 UUUGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Today, my son and I were driving to the DMV to see about getting Florida State ID's and we were hit by a Truck!! :guilty: Thank Goodness we weren't hurt but.... There is at least $5,000 worth of damage to my car.. And it is still Registered and Insured in NJ.. I left a voicemail for my Insurance Agent so hopefully I will get a call back.. I'm clueless to what to do at this point :confused3

The driver got 2 tickets.. 1 for driving with a suspended license and Knowingly knew he was suspended  The other was for making an illegal U turn.. He told me he was trying to get to Burger King for some lunch.. The truck isn't even his :headache:

Stacy,

Sorry about your car. I'm glad you and your DS didn't get hurt in the accident. I know you are probably frustrated with the situation of having to get your car fixed now and bother with the insurance company. Good luck in getting it all taken care of. Do you have a car in FL AND a car in NJ?

I'm sorry about your car Stacy, but I'm glad you and DS are okay.

Thank You.. and Yes, we have one in NJ and one in Florida.. The one in Florida is not drivable enough to get it back to NJ so it will stay here and I will have to come back down to get it towed and fixed..

Sorry about your accident, but glad that you and your son are OK! You should have lots of fun dealing with insurance in NJ with the car in Florida. New Jersey's insurance rules and regulations are among the reasons why Jim and I no longer have a car. It just got too ridiculous!

Beth

Stacy, glad you and your son weren't hurt.
While on vacation last week we were hit twice! First was Saturday, east of St Louis, we were rear ended and then on Tuesday in Oklahoma, a lady backed into the side of our car while we were buying gas. We were not hurt and damage was minor. We were glad to get home.

Wow, Stacey, I am so glad you and DS are ok!!! What a pain that you know have to deal with this!!

Wendy, those pictures are AWESOME!! So glad you guys had a great time!

Thank You Everyone.. :grouphug: That's all we keep saying too.. Thank Goodness no one was hurt..

I did call my Insurance Agent and she said call theirs and start a claim if one wasn't started.. So I did and None was started *of course* I was told a claims adjuster will come to the house and check the damage.. I was also given a direct Florida number instead of the 800 claims department number.. They said an agent should get back to me soon with more questions.. I'm going to call the FL number tomorrow morning and see if we can hurry this up since we are leaving Saturday.. At least to get someone to look at the car..

Anyway.. dont want to totally bore you with my story.. sooooooo

Today at MGM there was a "suspicious" suitcase type rolly thing left between Disney Playhouse and Little Mermaid so they cleared the area and roped it off.. Not too sure what the end results were.. but at least the whole park wasn't evacuated..

Animal Kingdom was fun but we didn't stay long.. We did go for The Lion King Show  and got to sit in the front..

okies off I go.. have a great night

That's really creepy about the suitcase. I hope it was just something someone forgot and not something harmful. It's really sad what some people will do now-a-days.
Good luck with your car Stacy. I hope they are able to prioritize your situation since you aren't going to be in the state that long.

 Did you see anything special around the park for DAK's 10th Anniversary yesterday (4/22)?
