Hi

Stayed the same again this week, and I was much better this week :confused3 , well apart from the odd treat, ;) off to a bad start next week, as Friday I have half day, and myself and 2 friends are doing our Christmas special of going out lunch time for food and drinks, whereby I am normally in bed by 7.30pm :rotfl2:

Good Luck Everybody :wizard:

Sue

No change for me either - mainly because we had some friends round for a meal on Sat evening. But I increased my time on the cross-trainer at the gym today by 5 minutes and 2 levels in a last desperate attempt to get to 2.5 stone - I was there last Thursday but then the meal on Sat put paid to that!!! The next few weeks are just going to be a desperate effort to maintain what I've lost so far this year and not put too much on!!

Ummm... I'm back to my original weight, meaning I put on 3lbs!! :( I don't know WHAT I did to deserve that, I haven't done anything different to last week, when I lost 1lb! I have felt a bit bloated today, though, so I'm hoping that it's just fluid. I shall weigh myself tomorrow morning and see what happens. Fairy dust for me please? :sad1:

Coming your way Emma!!!

confession time :guilty:
i have been and got weighed at ww and i have put 5lbs on.
i had lost 5lbs on the challenge, so now i'm back to square one...
but i am not giving up (yet!) i am going to get straight back on the diet and hope to lose at least 2lbs by next week :wizard:

i get another 2 gold stars - both yesterday and today i did 70 minutes on the elliptical trainer (5 miles each day)..
so that makes 3 days so far this week...

Oh I'm really sorry about that - I know how disheartening it can be but good for you getting straight back in the saddle!! I'm trying to have a good week as I've got no meals out etc planned now until 1st Dec - then it goes mad until after New Year!! :earseek:

This week I have lost 1.5 pounds. Really pleased with that.

Hope everyone is having a good week.

so the week is over.....i went to the gym 4 times this week....70 minutes each day on the elliptical trainer (about 5 miles in distance)..
thank god for the TVs to distract me (you can't pick the show you want, there are 4 channels showing simultaneously).....to give you an idea of how desperate i was for distraction, on two of those days i watched Dr. Phil - who had a weight loss challenge thing going which was interesting (mostly people who weigh over 30 stones)...

i haven't weighed myself (in about a year), so i don't know how much i weigh or if i've lost anything....i can guess that i'm about 3 stones overweight, but losing 1 would be nice.....however after so many diets over the years (i'm 50 years old and have had a weight problem all my life) and so much weight lost and gained, i've decided that at this point it's more important for me to exercise....of course, if i exercise regularly, i'll probably lose weight as well, which would be a nice bonus......but in any case, i'm feeling much better now that i'm moving again.....actually, that's one of the greatest things about our WDW vacations....we walk so much, the weight just melts right off...i usually lose at least 10 pounds whenver we're there....(of course i put it right back on the moment i get home and stop walking)....if only they built a WDW here where i could walk walk walk and enjoy every minute of it.......

Well done Florence - you're still doing brilliantly!!! Wish I could lose weight as steadily as you!!!
Beth - how on earth do you do so long on the cross-trainer??? 20 minutes is my limit and I usually have to stop every 5 minutes for a drink and to get my breath back!!!! I'm like you - always been "chunky" (!), on and off diets all my adult life, now in my 50s. I've always avoided exercise like the plague but it's the only way I can lose weight now - my body's so used to diets that it just ignores them and knows I'll soon get fed up and start eating normally again - so exercise is the only way even though I really don't enjoy it at all! Good luck!!!

Thanx Di ~ Think it makes a difference going to the gym in the morning.

Beth ~ I have to ask the same thing. The most I have ever managed on the cross trainer is 35 minutes. Would love to know your secret because it is such a fantastic fut burner :)
