:cheer2: :cheer2: I did it, I did it, I'm 9st at last !!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

I really went for it this week and I finally lost that last 1 lb to reach my target of 9 stone. I am so pleased. So in total I have gone from 10 st 6 lbs to 9 st and lost 20 lbs.

We're off to Gatwick tomorrow evening, where we're going to have a Frankie & Benny's meal and I can start to put dieting behind me for a few weeks. I can't wait to pick up the Cruise on Thursday and to get hold of all those lovely desserts and Bahama Mamas (of course)

I hope that you have all had a good week, and I wish you all lots of luck over the next few weeks.

Well done Mandy, what an acheivement you must be so proud, beware the pounds creeping back on tho' you don't want a holiday to spoil all your effort, Hope you have a fantastic time, well done again :flower: :flower:
 
Mandy thats great you lost that last 1lb :cheer2: :cheer2: i have lost a further 2lbs this week taking my total loss to 35lbs :Pinkbounc i now have 5lbs to loose in 4 weeks :confused3 But one things for sure my diet will be staying in the uk while i'm over there. i've waited 2 years for this holiday :cheer2: I will just have to hit the diet again when i get back :rolleyes:

Well done Mandy and Michelle!!! That's great!!! :cool1: I've lost 8 pounds over the last 3 weeks and am really pleased because I find it extremely difficult to shift the weight. I've been doing loads of exercise - totally unnatural for me - I've hated it all my life!! I seem to have settled into a pattern of going swimming every day. I do 25 lengths which takes me about 50 minutes as at the end of every length I have to cling to the edge and get my breath back before I can set off again!!! :rotfl: Have a really wonderful holiday Mandy and good luck Michelle for those last 5 pounds - you must have really worked hard to lose so much both of you (I'm jealous!!! ;) )

after my binge last week i still managed to loose 1lb......taking my total to 23lbs
i am really struggling now tho i want to loose 5lb more but my motivation has gone right out of the window :guilty: :guilty: :guilty:

Well done Michelle, Diana and Natalie on your losses.

Good luck with losing those final 5 lbs, they're always the hardest to shift, but I'm sure you'll do it.

Diana, I'm really impressed with your swimming, I would be exhausted after a width never mind laps. I think what has helped me during these past few weeks has been my exercise video, I did it today and I've put the blooming thing away now (thank goodness).

I'd love to say that losing this weight has been easy, but it hasn't been, there were times when I felt like packing it in, especially when I stayed the same weight for 3 weeks in a row. But I'm glad I perservered now and I can't wait to have some nice food for a change.

Everyone else has done so well too!!

I have stayed the same this week - again!! Despite much going to the gym. The gym person says she thinks I'm not eating enough :confused3 and that could be why.

Bit depressing though!!
 
I know it's not much consolation Karen, but well done for staying the same. It's a bit of a bummer when that happens, but keep up the good work anyway

Karen, I had that too and it is very depressing.....even though my clothes were getting looser the scales were still reading the same. However, I have lost 3lbs this week so I am feeling very pleased with myself.

miffy,i know how you feel about staying the same,i have had many weeks where i have not lost anything :rolleyes: and it can get very disheartning :sad2: i go to the gym 2-3 times a week and some weeks don't lose an ounce i am begining to think that the gym is building muscle and not helping me to lose weight :confused3

keep going everyone,we'll get there in the end :)

This thread is really helping me so much - thank you all very much!!! :love: I really thought it was just me who couldn't lose weight but it seems everyone has times when the scales refuse to budge despite all our best efforts. That's definitely the hardest time!! I put a pound on in my second week which really dragged me down psychologically but then it came off plus a few more so, as you say, Mandy Elaine & Eve, you just have to persevere!! You've all done so well - I'm only 3 weeks into my diet but you've really stuck at it. Chin up Karen - you'll do it!!!!! :sunny:
