Dis Group Photo Please

on our Dis meet thread we are trying to decide where and when to get our group photo taken

Please can you share if you have done this ? where you all decided to have the photo ? and if you were doing it again would you change it
and lastly any photos to share

I'll start
on our last cruise we done the photo at the goofy pool at our first met
only thing was half the people left before the photo was taken , think everyone was so excited about been onboard

We are having the same problem scheduling a group picture. What is the best time/day? We are on the September 27th sailing Alternate Western on the Magic. Between character breakfasts, Palo ressies, etc.

Any help is appreciated!

Our DIS meet was at 3 pm in the Promenade lounge. I believe the pic was taken between 3:15 and 3:30 pm.

We did are's on Pirate night in the Atrium with Pirate Mickey. It was neet some people were even dressed up.

this may be a dumb question, but who takes the picture? We have our cruise meet after the 2nd dinner on the first night. do i need to get a CM to take the pick. What did you do? Thanks!

We plan on scheduling with shutters when we get onboard.

As Jan mentioned previously, we had our group photo taken right after our DIS group meeting on Saturday in the Promenade Lounge. We took the picture shortly before everyone had to leave to get ready for the muster drill.

The photo was taken in the stairway just off the lounge so we could fit everyone in. Last year one of our DISers was a professional photographer so I think he may have set up the camera on a tripod.

I know we've never had a CM take the photo for us.

we did a group shot for our B2B..we had the atrium to ourselves! It was taken by a Shutters photographer who was there taking CM's pictures

that was with my camera...we all had cameras and he took them for us. It was between cruises and the shutter photog was taking picture of CM's ..maybe for boarding clearance

Dis Boards - "The Cruisin' Castaways" -August 2006.
I think this was about 75 people of a Dis group of about 200. There was a sitting fee that was picked up by a travel agent traveling with us.
This is one of my favorite pictures.

We also had a couple of group shots taken in the terminal in addition to this one. Someone in our group posted our group shots on our cruise meet thread or on their web page or something and then personally, I just right clicked on them and saved them to my vac. pics folder on my computer. Then I uploaded them to Shutterfly along with all of my other pics.
