i used to work front desk at that hotel, years ago, pool is nice normally v quite amd loads of good restaurants locally too!!
try tesco ccpoints for discount rate
accor hotels will hold 3/4 if you wish to double up...

I will break the journey at my DIS friend Helen's house on the Friday and then the 2 of us will hopefully get to Southampton Saturday. This does depend on work shifts etc etc, but I so want to meet everyone and I hope we manage to pull it off. I'm officially excited now

And its very close from the station to Novotel - cross the road, head for ToysRUs, cut through the carpark and you will see it.
To get into Westquay shopping centre head for John Lewis and go in that way - its easier
