DIS-functional Wonder Peeps Part III revisited

Did anyone watch America's Got Talent last night? I've never watched and only tuned in because there was a rumor that Michael Harrison (who used to be on the Magic) might make the semi-finals (he didn't). There was the CUTEST little girl I have ever seen! I mean make you cry cute. She just turned four. Sharon Osbourn asked her is she was from NY and she said, "I'm from Ameaica." Too cute.

Yeah, I saw that...she's a real cutie but she really doesn't belong in the finals of this thing...she's in there on sheer cuteness! (sorry)

I must have missed a picture last night because I just remembered this one that I took specifically for you guys, RJ & Cheri (and fams). On your way to the AP. :( (Im pretty sure those were the cars you got into.)

Betsy & Annie, hope your pains are gone.

SE, don't feel too bad about Trevor. You know the reason us Moms had kids ws for them to drive us batty. ;) The other day Cam saw a commercial for some balding remedy and he said "Dad should get that!", LOL!

Johnna, hope you all are enjoying the zoo!

:rotfl2: :rotfl: When Jared was about 5 or 6 (before Daryl was shaving his head) he of course was getting ummmm...shall we say thin on the top, right. Well, so Jared says "I wanna get my hair cut like Daddy's." So we were like "Huh?":confused3 and so he says "You know, with a hole on top"!:rotfl2: :lmao:

oh, I agree. She was just soooooo cute.

and the "release" is from DCL so you can get Shutter's pictures copied. Many places will not copy them for you without said piece o' paper.

OOPS!!:scared: I totally didn't know about any release form & I already scanned 'em, uploaded 'em and got them printed...what should I do?!:confused3

don't worry..you really need it when you get "caught"

My sister tried to reprint a picture from her cruise last year and Walmart wouldn't give her the pictures until she brought the release.

Yep yep tried to scan and send pictures once to Walgreens thinking I could slip it through.

Nope. They left me a message saying they would hold the order on their computer for 48 hours. No producey release, they no printy pictures. :headache:

I always get caught doing stuff like that. How come that is I wonder??:confused3

Hey - anyone still looking for the pedi egg? I saw some today at Gottschalks and thought of Betsy, RJ and Ophie. If you still need let me know I can hook you up!

Never made it to the zoo. Going to try again tomorrow.:thumbsup2 Will post pictures of cute tiger triplets.

Hummm. I guess somebody at Shutterfly wasn't paying attention. I had no idea I might get refused prints!!

Well, DH is being a good son today. MIL desperately needs a new front door (her old door was wooden and had HOOGE cracks & splits & gaps in it and the storm door was this old metal thing that was falling off the hinges). SO we are going halves with BIL on a new door (which he told me about this week after he'd already told BIL yes we'd split it:sad2: .) Anyway, she picked it out (a stainable insulated metal door) and it was delivered here yesterday. :sad2: DH spent all evening in the garage staining it and left a fan on it over night...he has a buddy from work who's coming over to help him go hang it today. Not the best thought out plan tho - he finally read the instructions on the stain this morning.:headache: It takes 48 hours to dry!! :rolleyes1 Should be an interesting day for them to try to hang a wet door...:scared:

Hey, Sue Ellen, Im playing around with Facebook now and I just saw your pictures from the trip. Very nice!!! I love Trevor passed out on the bed, LOL! And all those ones from our spot are awesome. :thumbsup2 Im having trouble figuring out how to add pictures. I told my nieces I need them to tutor me in Facebook 101. :lmao:

OK...am I the only one who misses RJ's picture of the day?!:goodvibes :confused3

CamColt - you learn this Facebook stuff then you can teach me!::yes::

Next door neighbors just got a puppy (a Golden).:dogdance: Very cute...very soft...paw: ...but they're already talkin' 'bout puttin' up a fence. I will not be liking that idea!:headache:

Ok, here's what Ive learned...click around on stuff and see what comes up...hopefully you don't send something to anyone that you dont want to send. Im a pro! :thumbsup2

So, Im really appreciating WDW right now. We went to a beach about an hour from us today, Hampton Beach NH. I went there as a kid every summer and as I got older that was the hang out type place (boy do I have stories:rolleyes1). But anyway, DH's coworker is in a Billy Joel cover band and they were playing at an outside stage there tonight. So we went up this afternoon, ate, had a couple drinks overlooking the water, walked around some, and listened to the first set (the kids were getting antsy, having no clue what music this was). Now mind you I was outside the whole time and yet I was overcome with smoke. The kids were getting ticked while we were listening to the concert that people were smoking around them. I had to keep taking breaks from eating everytime someone lit up (this was an oustide terrace so it was allowed). It was awful! I just could not believe how much smoke was all around. And to think I get ticked when I see that 1 person smoking outside of a smoking area in WDW. I'll be sure to think of today when I see that again and it wont bug me so much. :headache:

Yes, I too miss RJ's picture of the day.

And Katie, in your posts, are you posting pics? I see red x's?:confused3

Went to zoo today. Kinda chilly over there on the coast. But it was good. My feet are tired. Linden just went to bed and I am going to switch laundry loads and go there also.

Stymie went and picked up Dave's BBQ for dinner so no dishes!!

:lovestruc Thanks honey!!

Will post pics of the tiger triplets tomorrow. I have to download from Moms camera as ours is apparently broken. Guess those digital jobbers are only good about 1 1/2 years 'cause this is the second one we have had of the same model. Works one day then...blurp...no workie for no apparent reason.:confused3 Time to switch brands me thinks.

OK Katie once I posted my reply the red x's are gone. They are your tickers no loading quickly I guess?

Ok Good night then. Pics tomorrow.

Mornin' ya'll :wave2:

So of course MIL's house is not square so DH and his buddy got MIL's new door UP and able to lock...but it still needs some more work (top coat or something and frame put up & painted or something). So he is getting ready to go over there again as it is supposed to rain this afternoon. I'm thinking rain on a wet door is not a brilliant plan tho!:confused3 BUT he said they didn't finish getting the outside door frame back on either - so that could be important if it rains too. Good thing I didn't line up any projects for him this weekend 'eh?!;)

Gert - put DS's swimming scrapbook together yesterday...I did not use the "zots" yet...just used a double sided scrapbooking tape that was clear...it was removable & I was nervous about doing permanent...thought it was best to get it organized in a repositionable fashion since I'm not sure what I'm doing. I can add the "zots" later once I'm sure I'm done futzing with it! Trying to clean up some of my piles & mess this week before my parents & aunts & uncles come to visit next weekend. The island in the kitchen is buried with CRAP!:scared: And the study looks like I am one of those hoarder people you see on Oprah!!:rotfl2: Seriously. It's a real mess.:rolleyes1 This week I MUST clean.

Foot still hurts. It is OK if I am not walking or standing on it!:rotfl: The pain spread from my heel to include pretty much the entire foot (it is making this cleaning plan I have a little hard to execute - I wanted to wash down the kitchen cabinets with Murphy's Oil Soap:headache: ). I decided that perhaps it's because I don't wear "real" shoes enough any more. I walk around barefoot in the house or in flip flops when I go somewhere so maybe it's being caused from a lack of support on my boney little foot. Yesterday I wore my Merrill sandals inside all day. Drove me nuts to wear shoes in the house but it DID seem to make the pain a little bit less. I walked around barefoot this morning just from upstairs to downstairs to make the coffee and it was killing me again. So I am back to wearing the sandals to get some relief. Not happy with this foot thing tho. I gots stuff I need to do!

So, I am taking DS to a bunch of appts. over the next 2 weeks before school starts. Tomorrow AM at 8:00 is the Orthodontist. Time to see if his last 2 new teeth are in enough to get the braces started. I am pissed I lost my dental insurance when I got laid off. We did not sign up for dental thru DH's work 'cuz it was expensive and the plan did not cover any orthodontia nor was our regular dentist on it. Grrrr... Me thinks I will be writing a beeg check tomorrow to Dr. Grosier.:rolleyes1 Friday afternoon he has an eye exam. We got his current RX last Sept. He was supposed to wear them for distance but still doesn't want anybody to see him in them so he never wore them at school...but I think his RX has changed to the point where he may need them all the time. He squints SO much when he doesn't have them on. Although I hate to see his RX get that bad, I think having the Optomotrist tell him he has to wear them all the time is going to be the only way he will actually wear them at school. I think I can foresee another beeg check to write....:sad2:

I think I will plan to pick DS up from camp early tomorrow to go to the fair. They did the judging on all of the Arts & Crafts, Paintings & Photography etc. on Saturday - the buildings open today at 1:00 so you can see how you did (if you got any ribbons or not)...but the darned thing is expensive to go to. Monday is 12 & under in free until 4:00 pm AND $20 all you can ride wristband for the carnival rides until 4:00. They charge $5 parking and $8 pp to get in...plus those stoopid rides take like 5 or 6 tickets each and buying them by the sheet is EXPENSIVE...so going to the fair today would probably cost $25 more than going tomorrow. Plus it's supposed to rain this afternoon / evening....NO THANK YOU for walking around the muddy fair ground! DS likes the rides...I like to go thru the bunny barn (our County Fair is also an agriculture fair so there's lots of produce, 4H stuff like cows, pigs, bunnies, alpacas etc.) I love the bunny barn!! They are so cute & soft looking! Plus they don't stink quite as bad on a hot day as the cow barn!:rotfl: I always feel bad for the ones that don't win anything tho. They're still cute! Maybe next year I should enter the wood carving/chopping contest or the toilet decorating contest?!:rotfl2:

Any word on Beano / RJ?! Miss them.........hope all is OK...........

Annie-

I hear your orthodontia woes. Dougie won't wear his rubber bands and the Dr. says "if this [rubber banding] doesn't work" (meaning if the kids doesn't start cooperating) he'll have to have jaw surgery." Either he doesn't believe her or he doesn't realize how awful if will be to have his jaw wired shut for a couple of months while it heals in a new position.

RJ and Beano are hanging in there.

TRM- pics? I would post some but nothing I took is very interesting.

Does anyone else wish they were going to be on the Eastbound Repo leaving on Sunday. :guilty: I waaaant another cruise to be excited about. The new ships will open for reservations in about, what, December 2009?

We are in wicked cruise mode here. My parents just got off a cruise today and we have been trying to get something together for the whole family, for maybe next summer. We are currently looking at either a 4 or 5 night Western Caribbean on Royal Caribbean out of Ft Lauderdale. Has anyone done those? Opinions?

But for our next big cruise we have decided to start saving now and hopefully do the new ship in 2011. We seem to be on a 3 year cycle for big trips/cruises (we did 05 in DL and the 7 night Mex Riv, then this one this year). So anyone have a preferred week to cruise if you are planning on the new ship? :cool1:

YAY STEVE!!!!

I just heard on the news that an agreement has been reached for Verizon workers. :thumbsup2 A 3 year deal, I think they said. Excellent!
