So the President of Stymie's company...wait...the company where Stymie works...up and resigned yesterday. Apparently the family (its a privately held company) wants to sell. Not sure this bodes well for the Stymie clan.

Currently he is #2 on the short list of 5 they would like to see stick around until the bitter end. Time frame: 1 year.

morning...er..afternoon

I woke up at 5am with a HORRIBLE migraine and pukin (boy, that was FUN)..didn't come to the office until 9:30 and thought I was going to have to leave but it has FINALLY now gone away! Ugh! that was terrible...my boss went and bought me Excedrin Migraine and 7-Up..lol

so...i missed all the AI talk and morning pictures...and now I am going back into my pile of poo on my desk and wack at some more

Did you all know that no one sells white suits for boys any more? I have driven myself crazy trying to find one for Colt's first Communioin. there are dreses all over the place but no suits!

The only store that comes to mind is maybe a Catholic Thrift Store. We have one in town here I could check for you. They sell statues, books, jewelry that sort of thing.

I would be happy to give them a call for you if its of any help. I know my friend bought a bracelet she wanted for her daughters communion there.

I wish I knew you were near a Catholic thrift!! My nephew is having his first communion on Saturday and I have no idea where to get him a gift. I am going to try the catholic church here in Wellington

Thanks Johnna! How sweet of you to offer.

They are not "required' to wear the white suit. When Cam made his Id say about 2/3 of the kids wore them, but it just seems wrong not to wear white. I'm not very religious, but after 13 years of Catholic school, I guess there are some things that stuck with me.

What I ended up doing was brining Cam's old suit to a friend of my mothers coworker. She has a little room in her basement with all sewing stuff and she does alterations there. So we are taking Cams in. You would think it would fit, but Cam is in the 75th percentile for his age and Colt is in the 25th. So most of the hand me downs he gets, he wears like a year or 2 later than Cam wore them. Anything to make my life difficult. As for the shoes Cam's friend's mother offered her sons and hes tiny so they should fit. If not, we have to stuff Cams, LOL!

Evening ya'll. Whew. Been going round & round with DS all evening. Remember a couple weeks ago he had to survey 10 people for some answers for a research project - he put it off until the last day so I took him to the grocery store & made him interview the checkers & customers etc? WELL, this has been an ongoing reasearch project. This week he has an actual research paper due on it. He is so-o stubborn. He has 3 full pages typed and a smidge on a 4th page but he refuses to change anything to consolidate it (he was required to do 2 - 4 pages typed). And then I found a piece of paper (a chart) that he'd completed with his sources listed on it and the teacher had written on it that he needed 1 more online source to reference...and did he DO it? NO! The little sneak said "I forgot" and was gonna finish it & turn it in without adding another source! So we have been going round & round 'cuz he didn't want to change his paper. Hours wasted. OK, so now NEXT week he has to prepare a presentation (either on a sign board like you use for science projects or with Power Point.) The fun never ends.... I swear I didn't have to do research projects until high school. What is this crap in 5th grade?!

Off now to watch AI results.... Cheri - one more day until LOST returns!

I have officially decided that most of the DCL CM's don't know diddly about the excursions. I called to ask about the single jet ski thing to see why it doesn't show as available for booking. The girl says it's still offered but it must just be all booked up. I was like every single jet ski starting at 12:01 on day 90 was booked up on a double dip?!? She was like well, the suites probably booked them all at 105 days. She was like you could reserve two doubles. I'm like NO. I don't think so. I'm not paying double the price for our third person! Why would we want to pay $160 for two and $160 for one? Hello.

Alright, enough ranting for now...
