Sue Ellen - I am sorry for you guys too! What's going on with the peeps these days?!

Enough of the bad news already!
OK, so I'm ba-a-a-c-c-k from my interview. I
honestly don't know how to interpret how it went.

The job is a new position in a brand new dept. so there wasn't really a lot of details about the position as it will sort of evolve with the dept. So the lady I interviewed with is busy creating this dept. of like 12-15 people it looked like from her little tree thing. She will ultimately be over the whole dept. but she hasn't hired the Manager for the dept. yet (the person that the job will ultimately report to).

SO-O she is busy interviewing like all day every day for all of these positions right now. She said she will be interviewing for this position probably thru the end of next week and that she hasn't decided if she will do a 2nd interview with anyone or not. She wasn't sure it would be necessary.

She said it is business casual dress but I totally forgot to ask what the hours were!

She said I could email her if I thought of anything else to ask but I should just let that go, right? I tried to relax and be myself - but I was honest about the things that I don't know how to do that they are looking for (like extensive calendar management in Outlook) last thing I want to do is get into a situation where I can't do something & they think I can. But I just can't picture the calendar management thing being TOO COMPLICATED to learn, right? I told her it would be a new skill for me to learn.

So I am afraid I probably won't be the top candidate. I plan on mailing her an old fashioned Thank You letter tomorrow but I am not going to put all of my eggs into one basket and will keep looking while I wait.
