I think these 3 are the only ones everyone seems to agree on! #2 & 8 were the only obvious ones to me.

Today's cocktail special (chosen in order to commemorate one full week of unemployment) is a shaker of Raspberry Lemon Drops made with a heavy dose of citron vodka and a classic lemon drop rimmer. Thought they would go nicely with goat for dinner...hahahahhahaha

RJ - I seem to recall pictures posted of your recent trip to the Big Trees with TZM and Ophie. Did you all stay up there or just do the day drive thing??

Thinking of heading to Kings/Sequoia after Easter for a night. Wondering if you might have a recommendation. The Montecito Sequoia Lodge looks nice!!

Raspberry Lemon Drops sound yummy.
I have recently discovered caramel appletinis (which are so very yummy!) My favorite bartender at Outback is making these amazing drinks for me (no driving home for me on those nights!)
I also had this amazing Pineapple Upsidedown drink made with vanilla whiskey that was to die for too...yummy, yummy. I'll just drink my desserts thank you!

Do I need to take any pre-requisite classes to take the ice cube catching class? (Like maybe do I need to take like flip-flop tossing 101 or anything?)

SE - I had a caramel appletini once - very gooey! A tad too sweet for me tho!

Raspberry Lemon Drops - I really love regular Lemon Drops too...but 'Stirrings' makes some good mixers for both of those, cosmos & the appletini's.... Sometimes I just use plain ole vodka & sometimes I use the Smirnoff flavored ones. I like more of sour bite to them so I usually use the citron vodka over the raspberry...just depends! I can use raspberry vodka in the regular Lemon Drops.

So what's goin' on this weekend? We have a rainy, windy weekend ahead. No real plans of any sort...

Finally got the OK yesterday from DS's daycare place to do a temp. suspension (whew)! So now he will be home with me for spring break and I need to figure out some cheap entertainment!! They announced the peak period for the cherry blossoms will be 3/27 - 4/3 (the week he's off from school) so I'm thinking maybe a day trip downtown to the mall / tidal basin (no big trees here!). If I can find a parking spot at the metro we can ride that down. Would you believe I have lived here since 1984 and have NEVER gone down for the Cherry Blossom Festival? Every year I say I'm going the next year...but never have!
