Group again

One of the girls going was running very late, and missed pictures (which is why there is one guy without a girl in the picture.)

Off to Michaels - one fishy extender is making a trial run on the Magic next weekend!:woohoo: So I will get feedback on how it hangs, length width that sort of thing!:cool1:

Is IMHeather gonna be your tester?! That was really nice of you! Did u see how that other girl said nobody put any FE's up on her cruise & there were supposed to be 15 families?! How sad... Guarantee you my goodies will be quite lightweight for sure! DH will NOT be wanting me to have to bring a whole other bag of just STUFF!:rotfl:

I bought a soft side cooler that folds very flat that is supposed to hold like 48 cans I think...but it doesn't have wheels...but of course that's why it folds FLAT. So, do they only allow 1 carry-on bag per person? Trying to figure out if we can carry-on 2 REAL suitcase carry-ons (1 for the toiletry stuff you're supposed to use them for and 1 for booze & water), this little cooler (for beer), DH's laptop AND DS's backpack (plus of coure my purse which is the size of a small tote bag)?!?!?!?!?

You can carry on as much as you want, you just have to remember that you have to carry it and keep up with it until your cabin is ready.

Hopefully a whole cooler or suitcase full of beer will convince DH that's worth it!:rotfl:

BTW - great pics of Tara and the gang!! They had a great day for it! So colorful!!

SE: please be sure to tell Tara that she and her friends looked beautiful! :thumbsup2 Hope they all had a great time!

Hey SE....can you get us on the waitlist for a summer suite on the new ship due in '11 :rolleyes1

Get ready for senior year....sheesh! what a whirlwind it is! There is SO much coming up in the next few weeks....mind racing....mind spinning...easy to do to me though!:rotfl2:

Bets: hope you had a nice time in Tampa :goodvibes

RJ--would you have a child going to Embry Riddle? I noticed it in your signature. Steve went to ERAU for a short time (BEWARE--spring break is a KILLER to classes and grades for some people  )

Tara has decided to 'take' her senior year at a local 2 year college, so she gets her freshman year college credits as well as her senior year credits, so she will graduate with her class, but will be a sophomore in college when she graduates high school. Sigh...why do they have to grow up so fast?

SE

Yup, Matt will be attending ERAU in August.:thumbsup2

I'm gonna guess that Steve went to the Daytona campus though right? Matt is going to the Prescott AZ campus. Partying there....not so much :rolleyes1

That Tara of yours.....heep smart girlie :goodvibes

I know I said it before, Sue Ellen, but love the pics! What a great looking group of kids.

Annie, DH & I will dress up for the dress up nights and Palo...by that I mean cocktail dress, maybe a suit for DH. We wont be doing formal tux and gown type of thing.

SE - thanks for the info on the booze carry on - don't think we will get too carried away but just wanted the info. I will PM you the info for the 31 order. Great prom pictures. Please tell Tara she looked beautiful. And who got the extra guy??:)

Annie - ya all are packing way too much.;) And yep ImHeather is our fishie tester.:thumbsup2 I just hope she sends it back as is the agreed upon plan.

Cheri - I would like to thank you for getting me thinking about Alisal Ranch.:headache: I am calling today to make a ressie. We had so much fun last time we were there. I now must go again. Meet us there for my birthday. September will be lovely. RJ you too.

What she said! Kimmy and Timmy (isn't that cute? yeah yeah, I know - blech) will be gradeeatin' then :woohoo: TWO SUITES, please! (I faxed in a request long before the ships were announced but it may have been for the inaugural sailings. Hmmm)

Tara was beautiful. She is lookin' like her Mama. Did she have a good time? (Did she make it home by curfew?)

OK, so are you saying that you think 5 bathing suits and 4 cover-ups will be too much for 10 days?!:rotfl:

And if IMHeather doesn't return your FE then we'll just have to find out where she lives won't we now?!:rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

Whew! OK, good. I wasn't talking about gowns or tuxes either for this one! I had bought a fun little animal print number for Palo and then was trying to decide between some other dresses that I already have for the last night. Either a sundress or something like I might wear to a summer evening wedding or something. I have one dress that I've only worn once & I'd like to get another wearing in on it. I'm also trying to only pack 1 pr. of dressy sandals so in order to do that it limits me and knocks out the sundress that I have. DH doesn't have a suit, only 1 sport coat so I went to TJ Maxx today to look for a new dress shirt, tie & belt for him (his old belt was starting to look ratty). I think I'm going to pick him up a new sport coat one of these days - need to watch for a sale at Penney's or something. But so while I was in TJ Maxx I had to browse thru the womens area. :rolleyes1 I found a couple cute pairs of capri pants (practical - 1 white, 1 black) for like $16.99 ea. + a cute top or two. I mean, who can pass up nice tops for $9.99 or 14.99?:confused3 A Liz Claiborne purse for $16.99.... Yeah. OK. I was bad. But everything I got was a steal and will solve 2 more nights of what to wear for dinner this summer and the black capris can be worn with those dressy sandals too! So I guess I'll be wearing stuff more than once too if I wear the same sandals with 3 outfits!:lmao:

Alright, I'm folding memorial programs...need to get back to work....

Annie: there is nuthin' wrong with packing double or triple duty clothes! :thumbsup2

What I do at Alisal: wake up, sign Stymie and DD up for trail ride. Eat breakfast in dining room. Check out the library. Say hello to DIS friends online. Get Stymie and DD to the barn. Go to pool. Relax.

:thumbsup2 Now they have built a Spa/Retreat!!:woohoo:

Other days: DD goes to "art room" Mom sips iced tea by the pool. Stymie goes golfing. Dinner always great. Gotta dress up and go eat in the big western dining room. Breakfast and dinner are included. Lunch is on you. There is a grill/sandwich place at the pool or you can even request "box" lunches to take on your adventures. Adventures may include: hiking, nature walks, horseback riding, fishing at the private lake, boating also. We LOVED it.

We are looking at 9/11-9/14/08.

Um...Yes. And yes.:rotfl2:

If fishie doesn't make it home I will simply make another one. Besides she lives in NJ and really....who want to go there!?

:lmao:

OK just kidding those of you who might have a soft spot in your heart for Jersey. Been there, lived it, moved away. I retain the right to bad mouth it.
:lmao: ;)

Just an FYI...Tarzanman, BeanoC and SoccerDad-Chris are not, repeat not, packing ties!!!

We are going to stick to golf shirts, Tommy Bahama type shirts, and t-shirts. Ties and jackets are not required anywhere and I must add that the bahamas in July are hotter than %$#&!

I can guarantee you a tie will not be gracing Stymie's luggage either.

BTW - Hi TZM!!!:yay:
