Wow! You all have been busy!!
Let's tackle the easiest thing first: CamColt. Pack shorts. Or light capris. No jeans. The sunshine was wonderful and the shade will cool you down just perfect. We needed sweatshirts after about 8 or 9 pm.
Fireworks are always awesome. More crowded than I thought it would be but certainly cleared right out after fireworks. Ryan discovered Big Thunder Mtn. Railroad. So we rode that like a bazillion times. She tried Tower of Terror and I will say she is not a big fan. picture leaving the ride in tears But at least she tried it.
Did the Princess Fantasy Faire. Which Cam, I am sure your boys will not bother with, while it was cute and all, the forcing you into line to meet whichever princess happens to be there and then cleverly exiting you into the princess costume and accessory corner I thought sucked. Part of Disneylands charm for me is wandering around and "bumping into" whichever characters you find hidden about the park. But they have kind of taken the WDW approach and you can find only certain characters at posted times at one location. And imagine your little princess really wanting to see Cinderella. Head over to Fantasy Faire, wait in line for up to an hour and a half, get behind the cleverly designed wall, to find....Aurora.
I think that kinda sucks.
Did not do the new Nemo ride. The shortest line we saw all weekend was 60 minutes. Not gonna happen. In fact, not sure we rode anything in Tomorrowland and than Buzz Lightyear. But the single rider line for California Screamin' is pure genius!! We let the kids run around in the Redwood Creek Parents Rest Area.
The boys will definitely dig that.
Dinner at Blue Bayou rocked.
Did not get "dreamed" however. That would have been cool.
Asked if we could go back. DH said something about having a cruise to pay for.
Killjoy.
Not glad to be home. Its cool, breezy and overcast here. Oh and Ryan got up last night crying that her stomach hurt. Then threw up.
So we are watching movies and playing board games and doing laundry. But best friend did bring me a latte!!
Of course I think she really only wanted the antenna balls I brought back for her.
OK guess it's "Milo and Otis" time. Heavy sigh.
Will post pictures later.
