Happy Birthday Cassie!
My friend who winters here from Michigan just got back from a river cruise in Holland on Mon. She brought me a lb. box of Belgian chocolates:yay: :yay: I am going to have to pace myself and ration it because not only is is beautiful and artful but it is absolutely delicious. It rivals Godiva.

Happy Birthday to Sean and to Cassie.

Sean & Linda, wish I could have driven up to see you (it's only about 2 hours to DC for me.) It sounds like everyone had a good time. Brave you to chapperone an overnight trip.

that TA thread is AWFUL! First I cannot imagine not paying DCL when the client pays (which is why we have all charges made directly by DCL and not us) and second, that letter!!! :scared: What awful customer service! YIKES!

now aren't you all glad you have an awesome TA? lol

Fun weekend here. I just sat out for 2 hours (with an hour break in between) in cold rain. We drove by a bank that has a thermometer and it said its 44 degrees. I am frozen!!!! I love soccer, I really do, but these "spring days" are painful! Plus we got 2 losses too boot! Cam did score a goal though, so something good came of it.

I have so much to do, but I just cant stop reading all the Bawb tribute threads and the videos, etc... :sad1:

Oh my! Where are all of the peeps this weekend!?:confused3

I spent all afternoon planting my flower pots with the stuff I bought on Friday. Plumbago, Jasmine, Hibiscus, Begonia, Fushia's, a little Portulaca around the pond.....:goodvibes I do like 8 pots out back and 2 or 3 more out front. I bought some wax begonias for the beds out front too but I forgot to pick up some garden soil so I'll have to do those next week sometime...I didn't buy anything for my beds on the East side of the house yet so I can pick something at Home Depot for those and grab a bag of dirt this week sometime...

Well, I think that there is a Disneyland travel group this weekend for Cassie's B-Day. Ophie, Tzm, Betsy, and Rick hung out at the pool yesterday and then chatted until it was time to go to bed. So a large volume of us was not around the computer. Hope you all had a great Saturday.;)

Pool? Disneyland? WHAT am I doing wrong???:confused3 Maybe I gotta move.

Hope you all are enjoying your fun!

yeah! really! we are in the WRONG zone! when do you open your pool CamColt? is it heated? we would like to have a pool...but we BARELY have room for one and where it would have to go would ruin the topography of how our neighbors yard drains! there's a big swell that runs from their yard thru ours and out the back of the property. it was re-graded like 3 times over the first 2-3 years that we lived here. it leaves our yard a little soggy after big rains but it used to STAND like 6" deep and it used to flood their basement! if we would ever put in a pool it would back up into their yard again...

they HAD been calling for rain but now it's all changed - gonna be a nice day for the spring fair:yay: yay! it can be outside rather than in the gym...going over there between 11:30-11:45.

Usually we get it going by early June. It really depends on when we have free time and decent weather at the same time to work on it. In general we get about 3 months use out of it. Its not heated but where it sits gets sun pretty much all day so it does warm up fast once we start it up.

T, Cas and I arrived at Disneyland about 5:30 after checking into the hotel (I've always wanted to stay in the Disneyland Hotel!), rode Big Thunder and grabbed a bite to eat.

Chris called later and met us at the top of Main Street. He told Cassie to turn around (with her back to the Emporium) and not to move until he said to. "Cas, I told you I had a big birthday surprise for you. You can turn around and see what it is." The look on her face when she saw the Croutons standing there was the best thing I think I've ever seen! She ran and jumped straight into Uncle Beano's arms with the biggest hug. Oh my gosh it was the best!!!!!

BTW- oph is wrong on at least thing.

That is so sweet, Cheri! What a surprise!!! Hope you all had a good time.

And yes, there has been a lot of shock and sadness around here for the pass week. I still can't believe it. :sad2:

Yeah, what she said! :lovestruc

It was a spur of the moment, let's-go-to-Disneyland-and-surprise-Cassie kinda decision. The crowds were HOOOOGE on saturday but we still had a great time.

fun fun

Someone just back from the 4 night said this was the show schedule:

Night 1: Comedy show
Night 2: Toy Story
Night 3: Golden Mickeys
Night 4: Disney Dreams

What fun for Cassie et al!!!! Of course it's a lot closer for you guys to do DL for a weekend but I have already been thinkin' that a trip to WDW might be a fun surprise for DS's 13th in a couple of years...his b-day is the week before Memorial Day so we could slip in an extra day and have a 4 day trip...I think I will pencil that in...it's only 2 years away!:rotfl2:

Great pic BTW..... I love Chip & Dale - they're a riot!!:goodvibes Bob is lookin' like his Dad...that's pretty cool.:thumbsup2

Ophie (or anybody) - so will they do the shows on the 3 n as well? I want to take DS to a couple....or send him with the other kids while we ummm....martini taste or whatever! Do they do all of them except the comedy thing on the 3 n? I want to see the Toy Story one......I think. We did not do a lot of shows on the 7 n the last time when we went. I took DS to one, but I don't know which one...DH was passed out!:lmao: (Too much...uhhh...sun!! That's it! Sun! Too much sun!:rotfl: )

Great picture, Croutons! :thumbsup2

LOL, Annie. That sun can be a killer. ;) I believe all except the comedy show will be on the 3 night. They usually do a matinee and night time show(2) of Disney Dreams. Im dying to see the TS one. We have seen the other 2 a few times now, but still gotta see them once between the 2 cruises. I'm not too sure what the comedy show is. Anyone? Is that the adult comedian doing a family show earlier? I know on our 7 day CA cruise in 05 the first night was something like that. Cam still dosnt like the guy who did it becaue he said he picked on Pennsylvania. :confused3 :rotfl:

I think Cam's right... I think the 3 night has Toy Story, Golden Mickeys & Disney Dreams
