I have this wierd burning pain in my arm, right where the vein on the inside of my elbow is closest to the surface.

A couple of weeks ago, I had a similar pain for a couple of days on the back of my right hand. It hurt and if I touched it, there was a burning sensation where I touched. I wonder what this could mean? It doesn't hurt too badly, it's more annoying than anything. Ow.

Ok..now it feels like somebody is STABBING me with a needle in the vein and I can feel it wiggling around in there, even though there are no needles present. What the fuzzy? :confused3

I don't have any idea, and it doesn't look like anyone else does either. :confused3

In order to accurately diagnose your problem I will need a high resolution picture of your breasts. Don't worry I'm a doctor and I do this all the time. :teeth:

You need to go to a doctor. I'm not a doctor. The elbow pain seems consistent with elbow tedonitus. It flares up on me occassionally and the area burns and is hot to the touch. Go see the doc and get a accurate dx.

If the skin itself feels hot to the touch, you could have some type of infection (skin), although that doesn't sound like what you are describing.

There are a lot of nerves that run through the elbow, through the wrist, and hands. You could have some type of weird nerve thing going on, it could be a form of carpal tunnel syndrome. My "rule" on weird things like that (that don't involve anything you can see) is to give it 2 weeks. Then call the doctor.

Call a doctor, or Dectective Cuzzco He could probably figure this out and Break Everything in the room! Yay!

I think someone injected those Body Wars guys into your arm.

Hahahah, excellent!
I AM a doc and I am a bit confused with your symptoms - don't seem to fall into the "classic of...." bracket. Hmm, if it really bothers you you're best to actually get yourself checked, but if not, you could always give it a few weeks as per other posters' suggestions. Of course if your symptoms are evolving then you should get it checked sooner. Now you have me REALLY confused!!!!

I'm not a doctor, but no real doctor will diagnose (much less suggest treatment) over the internet.

Maybe you should call your doc and see what he says.

Good luck! :)

Absolutely!!! Most sensible thing said!

I am actually reluctant to call a real doc because they might think I'm outta my gourd.

The skin is not hot to the touch and it doesn't seem like tendonitis because the whole elbow is not painful, just that one spot where the vein is at.

I guess I"m going to just wait and see what happens, to see if it goes away or not because it still hurts and the pain seems to be getting slightly worse. Not enough to keep me from doing my regular activities but enough to make me extremely aware of it.

Thanks anyways guys. If I go to the dr, I'll let you know what he says.

I had the same symptoms a while ago and it turned out to be my back. My Chiro fixed me right up!

I'm pretty sure it is fatal. I'm not a doctor, but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.

I am not a Dr, but I feel that my advise is extremely useful. Just stab yourself in the leg and you will not notice the arm pain.

Thanks guys. I'm still having some pain, but it seems to be coming and going today, which is weird.
