Dis-Dream Academy RP

Eric: "I can't really act. Sometimes when I try to, I just laugh." He took out a pencil.

Cass: "This class is ok I guess."

Mike: "I'm with Cass."

OOC: I am now just realizing that Hiro's aunt's name is Cass. ._.

OOC: Yeah, that's a bit weird.

Helena: "It can be hard to keep the poker face."

Rosemary: "Right! Welcome to theater class, everyone. My name is Ms. Darling and I'm- obviously- your teacher. This class is what I call "challenge-by-choice"- those who choose not to partake in performing assignments may opt into writing assignments instead. Assignments are totally case-by-case, so if you feel up to acting one week, and would rather write for a week, that's totally fine. Seriously, I don't care. I'm not offended that some of you aren't actors. Do I have any questions so far?"

Ainsley: She didn't have any questions yet but she is liking this so far because she actually like to write as she has her own journal at home she writes in everyday.

Cass: "If we choose to write instead of act, what will we have to write?"

Mike: He's glad it was a sort of good question.

Rosemary: "I mean, there's always going to be a lesson behind every performance. We're doing a unit on Shakespeare, a unit on Greek theatre, a unit on modern shows... we're going to be doing an improv thing... you get the picture- anyway, each assignment is going to be subjective to it's respective unit, but it'll be a standard essay on something no doubt."

Ainsley: was thinking in her head that if she ever would elect to write it would probably be on some sort of time period of theater. Probably what ever time period they are doing at the time. When Ms. Darling answered she found out what she was thinking was right.

Mine: They all nodded as this was reasonable and Cass had actually asked a good question this time around.

Cass: "Ok, thanks. Another question: will the modern show be like, cool, awesome stuff like stuff based on animes, manga, superheroes, and all that jazz?"

Mike: "And the good question streak is over," he thought.

Ainsley: Thinks in her head that she never heard of a Broadway Theater Show that was based on Anime/Manga/ or Superhereos. She scratches her head.

OOC: I won't be on tomorrow, Satruday, and Sunday and I just realized that my classes are next -_- but just letting you know.

Cass: "Ok, thanks. Another question: will the modern show be like, cool, awesome stuff like stuff based on animes, manga, superheroes, and all that jazz?"

Mike: "And the good question streak is over," he thought.

Carter: Rolled her eyes from the back of the class
Hayden: "Pokemon the musical?"
Rosemary: "Hayden, shh." She turned to Cass. "Uh, if you... know any Broadway shows of prominence that you think the class would benefit from learning about, feel free to see me about it. Typically when we do the modern theater unit we cover Into the Woods, Phantom of the Opera, Chicago, A Chorus Line, and I allow you guys to choose a different one for an individual project."

Veronique: She shared a look with Mike. Veronique had often been called weird herself, but this was something else.

Wade: He sighed silently, hearing the question.

OOC: Okay, I'll have subs or something
OOC: I was just going to message you what I wanted the teacher to pretty much say as an introduction and just have the class do whatever, but subs are fine too.

Cass: "Yo, that would be awesome!" she said to Hayden. "Ok, thanks. I don't think I have any more questions."
