DIS Divas Trip! (old thread, see first post for link to new one)

I still have so much to do!

I need to find a Christmas sweater (not sure thats going to happen in time )
I need to find a tiara, which shouldn't be too hard.
I need to find an orange shirt!
I plan to get Disney nails done too! I know what I want done, I just hope that they can do it for me! Already got the appointment made for the 25th!
I did however get most of our door poster done! The rest is going to be done when the other roomies can add their touches to it.

Happy Tuesday, ladies!

Valentine's Day is coming up this Friday. Don't forget to pick up a little something for the people in your life that you love and cherish. If you celebrate Valentine's Day, that is. It used to be a big deal when Ruben and I were dating and early on in the marriage, but then I'm the one who actually put a stop to it. I felt the little unexpected things we do for each other throughout the year meant more to me than something big on one certain day.
But, I know a lot of people still look forward to it, so don't forget!

I love going to DL with my family, but I have to say I really enjoyed my two days in the parks alone last year, while my husband was in LA on business. I took lots of photos and walked the parks. I did not go on one ride!

Hi, Dee Dee. I completely understand what you are saying. Sometimes I just enjoy being in the park. I don't even want to go on the rides. I grew up in SoCal and have been on every ride there so many times. I still enjoy them, but sometimes it's nice to just sit and soak up the atmosphere.
I also love to people watch. For me, I don't always have to be go, go, go. I do that when I'm with my family, so when I'm on these trips, I like to literally stop and smell the roses.

Don't stress, Andrea. I don't have a Christmas sweater either. I have a black sweater with a black Santa hat. I'll go as Scrooge.
I have an extra tiara if you want to borrow it, just let me know. Unless you want to get your own for future trips.

I decided I better wait until the day before we leave to get my nails done. Maybe some Minnie mouse tips. I would ruin them at work, I'm sure, and I work the weekend before and the Monday so Tuesday will be the day to be sure I have it all together and ready.
There are always must ride rides. But I don't plan on running across the park to get fast passes and stuff. I want to try lots off little snacks and treats- My DD and I can split everything so we can try more!
Wow, two weeks!
I think we'll even have fun in the room!

Until I saw a post and thought wow that one looks pretty. hmmm.
I have my outfit for the meet and greet, I have my gift, and I have my tiara from last year. I need an orange shirt so I will have to work on that.

I have to go do my license renewal today. Oh joy. Glad I have a friend at the DMV so I can get a fast pass

I have some small gifts for all the grandkids. Still can't believe I have 4 plus my two step granddaughters and one more grandson on the way. Christmas is going to be so busy with little ones opening their gifts. Then for Valentines Day my oldest who rarely ever gets out asked if we would babysit. So DH and I are going to help but prior we are getting some panda express for our dinner. Saturday is my birthday so I have a hair apt and then having a family gathering at my moms. I may go meet some girlfriends for a drink after. Then Sunday my bffs are taking me to see Endless Love and lunch.

This might be a silly question, but do any of you know if you can get a discount by adding a couple days to an Annual Pass that's about to expire? Mine will expire on the 28th, and not sure if I should just buy a 2 day ticket, or if I can extend it just that little bit.

Hello ladies. It's only a couple weeks until the trip but I am seriously wishing it was this week! I've been having irregular contractions for the last couple days and I'm hoping they stop!!! They are too frequent to be Braxton Hix but I'm just hoping it's not a sign that full labor is soon. I will literally be sad and pissed at the same time if I miss the trip. So please send prayers for me that the pains stop and hold off until at least right after the trip .

99.9% Sure the answer is no. You would have to renew your pass or buy a ticket .

I was just thinking of you today. How are you feeling with everything else? Well it you deliver this week bring her along and have lots of helpers to adore on her. How far along are you? I can tell you from experience I had lots of contractions weeks prior. So I hope that's the case for you. Each pregnancy I seem to feel it more and more.

I am counting down the days. My Divas weekend schedule is very much up in the air right now. A very close friend of our's passed away Thursday (may he rest in peace) at the age of 94. The memorial service will be on Saturday the 1st of March or Saturday the 7th of March. There is no question that I want to be at the service.

If it is on the first, I will wake up very early and drive home on Saturday morning….so I will miss the weekend activities (but I will push the beginning of my trip to Tuesday).

Well, got the news that my friend's memorial service will be on the 7th of March....will not impact the Diva weekend.

Nate's family is too much drama. I'm not used to a family that loves to air their dirty laundry on FB. I just needed to escape. I will open a new account eventually. Probaby when you all get back. It's kinda painful seeing all the excitement and anticipation for the trip. I REALLY thought I was going this time. Anyways, I CANNOT wait to see how much fun you all had this year. It will give me something to look forward to for next year.

And this is why I am not friends with any family members on FB . They always ask why I don't accept their friend requests and I just tell them I only use it to keep in touch with friends that I don't see very often. But in reality it's to avoid the drama that some of my family members thrive on.

You will be greatly missed January and make sure you let me know if you're having a girl or not if you don't get back on FB .
