Well I'm checking in for my weekly visit.

The same old thing around here.

Have a trip planned for DL in a couple of weeks. We are getting the special 2 night and free character meal deal at the DL hotel. My girls can hardly wait! Woo hoo! We are also celebrating my grand daughter's 3rd birthday for our character meal at Goofy's Kitchen. Thought about doing the princess meal at Ariel's, but didn't want to waste precious park time eating. LOL! Especially since the parks close early.

Hope everyone is well, healthy and happy.

I stayed home today, decided I didn't want to be rushed with shopping. We have my sister's car tomorrow, might head over there to use up the Groupon or just soak up the sunny weather bus/walking on Monday.

We have just a few hard crusty snow lumps hanging around, hooray! We strolled around the building and picked up a bit more garbage, checking to see if any of the plants are sprouting back up yet (too early). Windy and a tad cool but sooo much better!

My broiled tofu turned into tofu flambe.

Still was mushy, we prefer it more browned and a bit more "bite". So I tossed it back in to roast instead, then I sat at my computer.. reading, chatting.. not paying attention to the time.

Mmmm burnt charred dried out tofu.
So we had a "fend" night after all. Ughhhhhhh.
Back to simple, minimal prep, things that I don't need to pay attention to cook.

Oh, me, too!! I haven't had a cleaning in at least four years. The good news is, the dental hygienist was really impressed with how clean my teeth were and how healthy my gums were. She said to keep doing whatever I've been doing. Yay!
Too bad I have so many issues from years past when I wasn't as careful. It going to cost me $$$$ to fix mistakes from my past. Dang.

38 days until my Disneyland trip!!! That is something I am looking forward too for sure!

My 99 Mitsubishi Mirage finally broke down. It had almost 300,000 miles on it. I had that car for over 12 years.

I ended up buying my grandma's PT Cruiser. She doesn't drive anymore and it had been sitting forever. It's an '05 with only 49,000 miles on it!

That's about the only exciting thing going on with me.

I'm planning a trip to San Diego for my birthday weekend (begining of June). We have Sea World annual passes and I bought tickets to the Wild Animal Park on Living Social for half off. Plus I have a free night stay at the Best Western from previous stay. Should be a fairly cheap trip!

I have an 86 Nissan pickup that has 106,000 miles on it! It had the same owner until 2010, and it still runs well. It's definitely going to outlast my 2008 Cobalt.

Hey, Sarah!! Sorry to hear about your car, but sounds like you got a nice "new" one. That's good!
Your San Diego trip sounds fun. I love SD. It was the first place Ruben and I ever went to alone on vacation when we were dating. At the tender age of 18! What was my mom thinking? I'd never let my 18 year old son take off for the weekend with his girlfriend. lol
Anyway, we used to go all the time and the family and I still love it there. If we were going to Oregon and Washington in June, we'd be going to SD. Sea World is awesome.
