DIS Divas, Take Two & Tyler....WooHoo!! COMPLETED!...OVER 1400 PICS!!

:rainbow:ONE MONTH FROM TODAY!!!!!:rainbow:

So help me out on this......If I buy Ty's Parkhopper online & print out his ticket......does he need to stand in the long ticket booth lines to get a real ticket or can he just go through the gates & they'll give him one there??? We usually buy the package & have the tickets sent to us.....so since we opted not to do that this time....I'm a bit confused on what he will need to do.

Also: The Good Neighbor motels sell parkhoppers too.....are they real tickets or the print out like we could do at home??

Any info & feedback would be greatly appreciated!!!! :woohoo:

I have no clue about the Good Neighbor hotels' sales of Park Hoppers, but if you buy a Park Hopper online (like from the DLR website), all you do is print it out and take it to the turnstiles, where the CM will swap it for a real ticket/Hopper. No need to wait in any long lines! It takes 3 seconds!

Laurie if he is just getting a ticket NOT an AP then you just take the paper to the turnstiles and they scan it and give him a ticket. I am not sure what the hotels do but I always get it at home because it is usually cheaper and I have it and don't have to mess with anything when I get there but I would check around on prices. Have you checked Getaway today? They are usually a few bucks cheaper than the Disney website. Good luck!

Thanx Kelly & Sherry......quick....QUICK responses!!! Good to know, he won't have to deal with the ticket booths (which can be a nightmare at times)!! :yay:

Laurie - last summer my sister and I stayed at a good neighbor hotel and bought our tickets there - they were real tickets not a paper to turn in at the ticket booth. We got them when we checked in and then went right over to the park.

Ooohhhh, thanx Dawn.....good to know we have that option open as well!!! :goodvibes

Sorry for my absence.......I will be checking in, but I'm losing my dad and it's taking it's toll on me. I went up to see him yesterday, and after my visit, my older brother & I decided it was time to bring in hospice in to manage his care. Finding it a bit hard to be excited about my upcoming trip....... :sad1:

I am so sorry laurie. Keeping your dad and your family in my prayers

Two weeks from today we will be winding up our last day at Disneyland.:sad1:

:rotfl:

Awwww, I sure wish your trip overlapped with mine....... :sad2: It would have been great to see you again!!

Laurie, I'm excited too!! One day less than 3 weeks today! :)

:yay: Woo Hoo Kelly......it's getting close!!! :woohoo:

I bought Tyler's parkhopper yesterday!!! The only thing left to cover is our ride to & from the airport. The shuttles are nice....but sheesh, why do they always show up an hour before they're supposed to for our return.....it drives me nuts!!! Then I end up at the airport and end up waiting for hours.......ugh!!

I know but I am a slave to when he can schedule his vacation.

I know it may sound strange but have you thought of renting a car to get to the hotel and then returning it to DTD? I believe Alamo has a rental car place there. It may be cheaper.

I know........it just would have been good to see you.......you're such a good friend & having your support means a lot!!

:scared1: EEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKK, I have no interest in driving down there.....almost had a panic attack thinking about it....... :rotfl2:

No, the rental car really hasn't crossed my mind........getting from the airport isn't a problem.....it's when I schedule a 4pm pick up & they show up at 3:10 that bugs me. I wonder if I could just schedule out later........my luck, they'd be late & we'd miss our flight........... :upsidedow

I know. You and Mike need to take a romantic trip to San Francisco.

I don't mind the drive that much. I was thinking that if you rent a car in DTD to drive back to the airport you can set what time you leave. I am always afraid I am not going to be on time.

You know, a trip to San Fran sounds lovely!! Just don't think it will happen this year........I've got this trip, then we have a special needs camp for a week in June, Michayla's open heart surgery in July & then our WDW trip in Dec.

Maybe Mike & I can plan a trip to SF & incorporate it into the Diva weekend :rolleyes1 I'd love to do the Walt Disney Museum!!! :yay:

I'm looking at shuttles & think I'll just pay for a cab.......I can grab one at the airport when we're ready to go....no waiting, and straight to our motel....... then the morning we leave, call and arrange for a ride at the time we want to be picked up. It runs about $40 with tip & might be well worth it. The shuttle would be about $15 less, but sometimes you share the van & get driven all over & picked up at the wrong times............ I think I've just talked myself into doing the cab thing!! :goodvibes

I think that the cab sounds like a good idea. The shuttles are such a hit and miss thing.
