Made our first dining reservation today!!!!!!! That means we're within the 60 day mark for this trip!!!

Tyler & I are booked for the World of Color Dining Package at Ariel's Grotto for Friday, February 24th at 5pm. This will give us the preferred section for viewing the first showing at 8pm.

I made the final dining ressies this morning for Ty's & my part of the trip. The plan is to spend time with the Diva's & spend time with Ty. Here's what the itinerary looks like:

Thursday, Feb. 23:
Depart Portland at 6:55am
Arrive Orange County at 9:16am
Grab a shuttle to un-named motel & check in.
Head to Disneyland
Grab lunch with Ty & do a few rides.
Head off to help set up for the Meet-n-Greet at the Carousel Inn

Friday, Feb. 24:
Be at the park for opening & head to Princess Fantasy Faire to do group pic.
Company D, as a guest of Jill (castmember store)
Celebration BBQ with the divas
Meet up with Ty after lunch & do some rides
World of Color Dining Package at 5pm with Ty
8pm WoC show with Ty

Saturday, Feb. 25:
Castle group pic at 8:30am
Wish Scavy Hunt participants good luck.
Meet up with Ty at Minnie & Friends breakfast at 9:40am
Meet back up with Divas around 12:30 at the Hungry Bear Restaurant to hear results of the hunt.

Sunday, Feb. 26:
Surf's Up with the Divas
Catch up with Ty after saying goodbye to the ladies (a lot of them leave on Sunday)
Dinner at Cafe Orleans with Ty at 5:30pm
Fantasmic Dessert Seating (still need to book) with Ty

Monday, Feb. 27:
Check out of motel
Goofy's Kitchen at 10am
Head to park until 3:30pm
Go back to motel to wait for shuttle to airport
Depart: 6:55pm from Orange County
Arrive: 9:20pm in Portland

The only thing in question is the Fantasmic Dessert Seating.....theres some talk that Fantasmic might not even be running.....so I'll have to wait to see until an announcement is made about it one way or the other.

First off HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!. It has been like the 4th of july here for the last 3-4 hours. Kids---- errr Parents LOL. That is so cool to meet up and possible fly with someone that follows your pt. I mean how cool is that. I did notice you and tyler seem to meet up in the afternoon. Was wondering if he is like me I need 8-10 hours of sleep a night or I am like a hungry lion.

Your plans look very well thought out. So exciting it is 2012 now so trip is getting near.

I am going to take a class to learn how to post pictures and such to the internet. Then one to learn how to play bridge. If I am not able to go to DL I am going to learn how to have fun while in "LOCK DOWN AT HOME' LOL. Good thing is I can have scads of fun reading yours and Micheles trip reports. I read all the others to -- they are great to.

The Meet-n-Greet theme is kinda fun, but eerie!!! I'm not a huge fan of the scary, dark, cobweb stuff......but it seemed to get a lot of support & excitement when mentioned.......so it should be fun!! I really, REALLY need to get to work on the name tags & bags.....sheesh, nothing like holding off to the end again & I haven't even thought about the Villian's gift exchange we're doing yet. Need to get moving on this before it becomes a nightmare!! lol

Speaking of goodies, I need to send out a note for the gals to sign up for what they're bringing.....looking for a good balance of sweet, salty & healthy.....now to figure out what I'm gonna put all that stuff into this time.

We haven't decided yet. I have a pin # for the Pier, so I'm leaning that way. HoJo has retro dates for only one night of our stay & that new promo (or as I think of it......Lame-o) is for only our last night so we can't benefit from it.

I'm looking at all our options & will decide once we get our deposit back from our moving. Right now the pin # is making it pretty equal to the HoJo & the Carousel.

Since you brought up the new promo.....I was disappointed in all the hooplah just to find it it's for a 2 week period of time. Awesome if you're local or going to be there during that time.....but otherwise its null & void for the rest of us who are traveling at different times. Their "themes" like Year of a Million Dreams, Give a Day~Get a Day, etc were year long celebrations.....why celebrate 2 weeks?? It's just weird to me......or as I said above.....Lame!
