DIS Divas, Take Two & Tyler....WooHoo!! COMPLETED!...OVER 1400 PICS!!

It would be!!!

We've done ok so far (it did drizzle the night Mike came into town, but I wasn't at the parks that night, so it didn't count.....lol).

I have been there when it rained and although the crowds were really low it was a bummer.

OMG Michelle I so know what you mean! We went last Christmas and it was MISERABLE! I have had tons of rain in Florida but that was the WORST I have ever had. It rained the ENTIRE time and we missed SO much. Esp at Universal which we only go to maybe every 5 years or so. But we still managed to have SOME fun. It just would have been so much nicer had it not been so bad!

And it was a cold rain for us which was just miserable.

I know how you feel Michele. I've dealt with this before. One notable time I've dealt with it was back during christmas break '04. I went with my british cousins (from my dad's side) and it rained (and I mean pouring) the whole time I was with them. I was only 9 at the time.

You know our trip was in 2005 and it was so cold and raining. I never wear my hood or a hat as a general rule but I actually bought myself a hat and wore it while I was there. Last February I bought myself one of the Mickey Mouse ponchos to wear. I just haven't done it yet. I may just break it loose tonight or tomorrow we have stormy weather right now.

I know. It also reminded me of my Jonas Brothers meet and greet. It was POURING rain the day I got to meet them. :scared1: Not a good way for someone who had been waiting for 2.5 years to meet them. Anyway, the security guard at the door saw our (my sister and I) wristbands and thought they were fake :sad2: Because of this, he made us stand out in the rain. It was all worth it though because my dream finally came true.

I live in the wet Willamette Valley & I hate rain.....sad! So when I go to Disneyland I want warm sunshine.....I get enough of the wet stuff at home.

Which is your favorite Jonas brother. My daughter Kody loves Kevin, she was heart broken when she found out he was getting married.

Mine is Nick. She should read my cruise trip report, like you did.

Kody doesn't even read my trip reports. Even the one she was supposed to write with me in 2010. She likes to spend her time on the teenboard.

So NOT a good day for Laurie. For those who don't follow her on FB, Michayla decided Saturday night to grab her tube as I was feeding her and pull.....result, she pulled her G-tube button apart (Oh did I mention Laurie was out at a friends b-day party). So I had to call her cuz now we have no way to feed Michayla. She leaves the party (just as the guest of honor arrived) while I called Salem Hospital. Salem Hospitals reponse.....the ER Dr can't replace the button, call OHSU. OHSU tells her to bring her up first thing in the morning so they can replace the button and Michayla can eat breakfast. SUNDAY...I have to work (no time to find replacement) so Laurie and her mom head to OHSU so they can arrive by 8am. Not so fast. Seems the ER Dr can't replace this button (mind you this button was placed at OHSU). Next thing Laurie knows Michala's being admitted and an IV started (did I mention Laurie DOES NOT do needles) while they wait for a Dr from the other pediatric hospital accross town. Flash forward 8 hrs. Still no Dr (seems he was the on-call emergency surgeon and was in surgerys) Michayla still hasn't eaten (now going on 20+ hours) and Laurie is DONE. After "voicing" her concerns to the RN and then the Dr, the decission was made to put in a temp balloon button until she goes up on the 20th when they were going to change the button anyway. Laurie and Michayla finally get home at 6:30, both totally stressed. Eating dinner when Laurie gets a voicemail to call her brother in California. Laurie calls him to learn that her Stepmom has lost her battle with breast cancer and passed during the day. Ugh, day could not be worse. So while we relie on faith and trust it seems the pixie dust is running low and it's hard to have just one happy thought. So keep Laurie (and the rest of us) in your thoughts and I'm sure Laurie will be on to post more soon. DH Mike

 Thanx Mike!!

Remember when the trip got cancelled & we all agreed that things happen for a reason? I also remember mentioning I was afraid of what that "reason" could be.......today we would have been driving home. Yesterday morning my step-mom lost her 30 yr battle with cancer.....ironic that it started as breast cancer & this is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Unfortunately after 3 different battles with breast cancer it moved on into her lungs, bones & brain. She put up one of the bravest & longest fights.....she made sure my dad (who is end stages of alzheimers) was taken care of before she finally said enough. I knew this was coming, but I don't think you're ever prepared to say goodbye to a parent. As a kid, divorce was a hard thing, but now I look back & think I was lucky to have 4 parents.

No more suffering for her, just a lost feeling for the ones left behind.

Michayla is doing good today....she's such a trooper after all she went thru yesterday.

Well back to waiting impatiently by the mailbox (which won't be today because of the holiday) for our check so we can plan our trip & move.
