We are also under a High Wind Warning until 7pm tonight. I have already lost 1 outdoor Christmas decoration as it is no where to be seen out my front door. However it was the one with the least tiedowns on it. My others are holding their own thus far. Glad I used Tent Stakes in stead of the cheap ones that came with them

It's another early morning for me

I wish I could master falling back to sleep but oh well. There is snow on the ground right now and I am waiting for the local news to get started to see what is predicted. I suspect that we will end up with a delayed school opening. I may either work from home or just take the day. I will need to drive to Frederick later to meet with the attorney.

By the way - I leave for DAP tomorrow

Buffalo area weather update:

Wednesday AM - heavy rain - temps in the mid 30's
Southern Tier area - some freezing rain - delays for schools are running about 2 hours til temps rise down there

Wednesday afternoon - Winds move in - sustained winds of 35-45 mph with gusts 60+ at times - temps rising to mid 40's - rain ends

Wednesday PM - lake effect snow settles in - approx area is from Dunkirk area up through metro Buffalo and airport up to lake Ontario area near Batavia & Rochester - white out conditions prevail

Overnight - lake snow continues

Thursday AM - lake snow starts to move into the Southern Tier - estimate is now that by 7 am no snow in Buffalo metro/airport area

Flight out = 8:30am fingers crossed

Good morning again, I am now up for good after my rude awakening at 3:00 am.
Our forecast has the worst winds between now and 2 pm. We are at the High for the day now, temps are to be in the low 30s by 5:00pm.

Right now I am not planning to hit the road to Indy until later this afternoon.

I'll check back in a little later.

Good morning everyone. I had a very stressful day and night. I think I might get out of here today. John (3guysandagal) stayed up with me on the phone to see if they could get my plane landed last night. They did at 11:28pm.
Thanks John for staying up with me.
My phone batterie died just before the plane landed.
