Once again I am just overwhelmed by the amount of talent here! I've been loving all of the layouts and have been learning a lot from y'all. I've been saving all of my comments for a while ... so here they are! (I've put the links to the LOs in everyone's name, just in case you want to go back and reference the LO - I just hope I got them all right!)
Terri - One of these days I'll learn how to use a photo as background! It just brings you into the story even more!
BrairRose - I love the way you used all those photos without using all of the page space. I tend to clog every inch of my pages with stuff, and this is very refreshing! I'll have to remember to do something like this in the future.
Yzer - Simplicity at it's best! Personally, I have a hard time just placing one photo per page since I have too many photos I want to get out for each story, but this is a perfect example of how it's done with just one pic. I've also been enjoying the LOs you've posted on the page thread. I love the one about your grandmother (I think it was).
Susan - Now I want to go back and re-do my Club Cool photos!!! How fun those pages are!
bsquare - Wow! Great job with the photo from the SB+ class!!! I was wondering how to use one of them in a LO. This really works! Very cool.
Brittney - You're a stitch! I love your sense of humor. I've been amazed at your talent with using embellishments
without them seeming overwhelming! I'll have to try experimenting one of these days... And yes, DOLE WHIPS RULE!!!!
Marilee - The white background really plays up the red stitching and just makes everything pop out! I usually load my backgrounds with stuff, but that is very nice!
kswm - Those guys are cool, huh? I missed them at WDW, but saw them at DL this summer. I ditto my same comments here that I had for Marilee, except with a black background. Nice!
ngneer98 - I need to learn how to do funky backgrounds like this one! It is perfect for setting off all of the photos of your kids!
Christy - LOVE that kit! I might have to do some shopping later on... The first thing I said (after loving your layout!) was "How did we miss that place at DCA?" It may have been because the family rode Screamin' 4 times???? Your LO is fun, bright, and makes me miss the beach!
Pooh - VERY elegant! Again, the plain background just brings the focus to the photos. And the way you placed the pic of the dining room over the photos? Very daring!!! I don't know if I could do that, but I like the mystery it brings to the LO!
