I know,I know - I let myself down...:sad2: but I have promised my sis that I will try and lose a stone in 4 wks- and i am going walking every night!! can you tell i feel real guilty!!

Aww we've all been there at some point  i hope that you stay positive this week x x

A stone in 4 weeks is a lot to loose!

Maybe if you break it down into smaller goals you'll feel more confident about it Netty. And not to worry if you don't reach a whole stone in four weeks, a few more lb's is better than none at all. Try not to put too much pressure on yourself, as you'll feel the urge to just go out and eat more, well that's what I find - I become defient with myself and just end up pigging out! :sad2:

Keep up the walking and I'm sure you'll be fine - no matter if you loose the whole stone or you don't!

Thanks! I am limited as to what exercise I can do so soon after my back op, so i am dieting without exercise apart from walking-slowly!

Well walking slowly is better than none at all :thumbsup2 And like you say, you need to be careful not to push yourself too much after the operation - we don't want you poorly from it all, do we? :scared:

Like Nat said, if you need too, PM us and we'll keep up the support for you! Best off to get Nat this weekend though, as I'm being naughty and heading off on my best friends hen party! :scared1: :rotfl:

I'm a firm believer in not setting timed weight loss goals as we don't have any control on how fast our stubborn bodies will let go of the fat. It's better to set a goal that you do have control over e.g. I will stick to my diet plan, I will excercise every day or I will drink 2 litres of water every day.

yeah, fine example you are setting !! :rotfl2:

:lmao: :lmao: I know, I'm a bad one this week!

I think it's very rude of my friend to put her hen party right in the middle of my healthy eating regime!! She'll go mad at me if I'm like a whale to be her maid-of-honour :rotfl2: :rotfl2: It'll be all her fault!!

Well, I succesfully completed my first day of slim fast (since the last time I did it anyway)

Went a lot better than planned! Although the shakes aren't the mostfilling thing ever, I was good and had melon and kiwi for my morning snack, and then rice cakes with jam with my 3 o'clock tea this afternoon (very tasty and filling for under 100 cal!).

Dinner I managed to do for 500 cals instead of 6 which even meant i got to eat some lush vanilla and rhubard youghurt for afters.

Mmmmm, I forgot how good it feels to eat a nice meal and know it was good for you! :)

Here's hoping tomorrow is just as good!!

OK I'm 15 8 1/2 this morning so no change. It's a shame as I was 15 7 1/2 yesterday morning.:confused3

Keep going :thumbsup2

Good luck for the upcoming week, one and all!!! pixiedust: :thumbsup2 pixiedust:

Right, I have 2 weeks until I gorge myself stoopid in WDW so I'm going knuckle down and try really hard to lose those final 3lbs!!! I've been sensible over the weekend and intend to be even more so until Friday! My DH wants to lose 5 pounds too so he'll be joining in - it's gonna be a team effort... ;) :rotfl2:

Good luck with the last 3lb and to hubby too.

Hi all!

Coming in a bit late for March, I know, but I started my weight loss today. :teeth:

I am going to do Slim Fast for the next two weeks, and then switch over to Weight Watchers, as I lost over 3 stone on WW last year, so know it works for me. Trouble is with me at the moment, I'm eating such rubbish that WW seems really tough. SO I figured by doing SF first, when I do go over to WW it'll seem great!

I also made weight loss tickers as they really help keep me motivated:

This is one for a wedding we have coming up in May during my birthday weekend:

And this is my one for our florida trip:

Good luck, I do weightwatchers too.

So far I've lost 23.5 pounds :)

That's fantastic.

I have weighed my self today after not doing so last week and i am 3lbs lighter, so am pleased with that :goodvibes

Well I lost a pound yesterday :lmao:

I know that doesn;t mean anything for one day, but was still nice to see the number getting smaller after such a huge increase in weight!

I had one of the SF bars fo breakfast instead of the shake, and it was really good with a cup of tea! Much bigger than a normal cereal bar too, so it seemed really filling and satisfying. :)

Don't feel guilty, Jeanette - you'll get there...   I agree with the others tho', a stone seems lots in just 4 weeks...

Please be careful, hun... :grouphug: I damaged both of my hip ligaments through gently exercising on an elliptical strider thingy when my back was bad... :sad2:

LIterally just walked in the door, having spent the whole day at an event in Andover but couldn't wait to come on here and tell you all that I lost 4 lbs this week :cool1:

I am so chuffed - not only have I reached my 1 1/2 stone target but it means that I can happily enjoy my Birthday weekend this weekend and not feel too bad about it :thumbsup2

Will pop back on later to see how everyone else has done :)
