Thought I'd check in before I depart on the hen party for the weekend. I'm going to try to my best whilst away, but not knowing what is on offer at the moment is not helping. I'll just try everything in moderation in hope that it doesn't spoil my achievements so far :goodvibes

Won't be having a weigh-in on Sunday this week, as I don't wish to dishearten myself on return. So it'll be a week on Sunday my next weigh-in, just so I've got a week of the gym back in!! :lmao:

Good Luck for the rest of the week everyone!

Have a fab weekend Rachel, and :wizard: Good Luck for next week

I have stayed the same this week......and thats what im aiming for :thumbsup2

 Well done Nat, especially after your boozy weekend

Do any of you diet purely by calorie counting?

I'm so used to doing it by WW points that now my dinner has to be 600 cals I've realised I actually don't know the calorie content of simple things like pasta, potato, veg and meat!

Anyone have good tips for low calorie meals?

So far this week for my 600 cal dinners I've had:

Quorn sausages, mash, sweetcorn and beans.

Quorn fillets in homemade spicy vegetable sauce (courgette, tomato, peppers) and pasta.

Cajun spiced Quorn fillets with a small jacket potato, peas and sweetcorn.

As you can see - quorn features highly - mainly because (a) I loooove it and (b) its so easy and worry free!

I know, I hate cravings though I didn't give in as I had Jalapeno Houmous for something spicey, with a slice roast chicken and whole meal pitta bread and it was very nice.:)
That sounds LUSH!

i lost 3lb this week,so still chipping away at it!
i can now do my size 18 linen trousers up,that i bought for spain.they are tight,but the button & zip,now do up.just hope,i manage to get in them comfortably,in 4 1/2 weeks.fingers crossed:)
there are some really good losses, being reported,so maybe this finer weather,is keeping,us all motivated.
i walked up,sychnant pass mountain,on tues after work.i told my husband,i would never make it,when i stood & looked up,but he never lets me get away, with not trying,so try i did & made it.the views, over the sea & conwy were fantastic.i only had to stop twice.two months ago,i wouldn't, have even thought about it,never mind attempted it!
good luck everyone,with this week

Well done everyone - another week of fantastic weigh losses. :thumbsup2

Well I'm bowing out of getting weighed.

I've been running three times this week - a total of 8 miles and i've gained
2lbs! Just checked my times and in the last month i've run 30 miles! :scared1:

I know I'm getting slimmer but the scales are doing my head in and to be honest I never used to get weighed before - I just went by my clothes. Now I find it so frustrating getting on the scales that it makes me feel like packing in the running.

DH is really encouraging saying he can really tell a difference so I'm just not going to step on the scales for a few months and see what happens. I've lost the bulges on my back and my thighs are a lot slimmer but nothing seems to be happening to my waist! :lmao: I think I might have to add some sit ups!

I saw my sisters at the weekend and they commented on how slim I looked and when I told them I'd put weight on they didn't believe me.

So that's it for me and the weigh ins but i'll keep coming on to see how you're all doing.

Keep up the good work and who knows come Sept I might have lost a 1lb! :lmao:

that sounds like a sensible decision to me, at least you are fitter and if your clothes are fitting then thats good enough

good luck x x

...couldn't wait to come on here and tell you all that I lost 4 lbs this week... I am so chuffed - not only have I reached my 1 1/2 stone target but it means that I can happily enjoy my Birthday weekend this weekend and not feel too bad about it...
Brilliant news, Joh! Have a lovely birthday weekend...

4 lbs off for me too! A nice start back at WW.
Great start, Libby!!! :cool1:

I have had a bad day today - I've got a bad cold and have eaten a tube of pringles and two tubes of smarties... I am feeling a bit better today which is good as I have an essay to write and I didn't get any of it done yesterday as I couldn't concentrate at all, its the worse time not be well for me. I enjoyed my pringles though.;)
How you're feeling better and back on track, Claire - how's the essay..? ;)

I can totally understand your frustration - if you're seeing the results in your clothes rather than on the scales it's definitely in your interests to stop weighing yourself... Good luck with the running and fingers crossed you see a difference in your waistline asap...

I wish I could give up weighing myself, but I do seem to get obsessive with the scales :( It's great that you can feel a difference and that others are noticing too

Keep up the good work Janet :)

After my boozy weekend and my pig out at the Chinese all you can eat buffet last night, I'm chuffed that I have only put on 1lb :)

I lost a 1lb so I have 2.5lb , however I am going to increase it to 5lb as I am nowhere near fitting into the trousers that I wore before I started uni and my aim when starting this was to get back to that size.
