Hey folks, just caught up on last weeks thread. Well done to all you losers!! :rotfl:
I lost 1 and a half lb this week, so total loss of 20 and a half lb in 9 weeks. Just over another stone to go until I'm in my healthy BMI for WDW 4 months from today, so all looking good to hit my target by then! :banana:
Have a good month, and just put the bank holiday behind you if you 'indulged' too much! :thumbsup2
 
Hello all..... I sorry I seemed to have missed May all together LOL I hope may was a good month for you all.

I have been trying the WW Wendie plan the last two weeks and have lost 5lbs so I'm very pleased with that. Another 2lbs and that will be a stone off since feb, and only one stone untill my holiday goal!!

You add all your points up for the week but have a different amount everyday, so for me I have these points....

Day 1=19
Day 2 = 16
Day 3 = 28 High Day
Day 4 = 14 Low Day
Day 5 = 18
Day 6 = 17
Day 7 = 14 WI

I was struggling on 18 points a day but this plan has shown me i can have 14points a day and be full. It's really good if you, look at the lady lucky website she explains how it all works and gives all plans for different point values.

That sounds very interesting. ::yes:: I did conventional WW a few years ago and didn't get on with it at all but I think this would suit me much better...

Well done on your loss! I suppose that I do this to a certain degree, as on the conventional WW plan you can save 4 points a day over the week if you know that you are going out at the weekend etc. I make sure that I do this if I know that I'm going to be eating somewhere where I'm not going to be sure of the exact points (restaurants, other peoples houses etc) :thumbsup2
The only thing I would say to people is that you can actually slow your metabolism, and therefore make things harder for yourself, if you eat too little on certain days after overdoing it on others. Even though it might be the same amount of points spread over the week, your body prefers relative consistency in the amount of food you take in each day in order to keep your metabolism firing at a steady rate. Still, if it works for you, then that's great!
 
Well done on the losses so far everyone. I started weight watchers again 3 weeks ago. I lost 6lbs in the 1st week and 2lbs in the 2nd, I weigh in again later today so will let you know how I do then. I quite often save points and carry over if I know I need more points later on in the week. I went for afternoon tea at Harrods last weekend with my friends from work, I saved points from each day so I could enjoy a scone with jam and cream and some lovely little cakes. It must have worked as I still lost 2lbs that week.

From what I have read its designed to give you abit of a kickstart if you hit a wall. I plan to do it this last week and hopefully I will hit the stone mark so I'll then move down to 17points a day. I do see what your saying but i've found it made me think more about eating filling 0 point foods and different food on the low points days and meant i can have a little treat on the high point days rather then changing the amount of food.
 
I just weighed in at weight watchers and have lost 2.5lbs this week, so that makes 10.5lbs in 3 weeks which I am pleased with.

Had a very very naughty day sat.... so maintained this week - but actually starting to feel a bit thinner so somethings working!!

Also back in the gym this week after a problem with my shoulder so aiming for 2 lb this week.
