Well I went to WW on Wednesday and found out that I'm my heaviest weight ever. :scared1: I have over 6st to lose.:sad2:

I'm quite pleased that there is a new programme, but it is a bit time consuming looking up absolutely everything at the moment. I'm sure it will get easier.

I need to do a big shop as I had stocked up on Tuesday with things that fitted better onto the old WW programme.

Still - onward and downward!

I'm sure you'll do fine once you get into the swing of the new system - I find it so much easier that the old system and I love snacking on fruit and not having to count it. Also the additional weekly points mean you no longer have to "cheat" you can just enjoy the extra treat and point it.

Good luck

I like the fruit too - but it still feels a bit naughty! It is hard changing my way of thinking as I used to regularly save points on the old points scheme (until I got down to 17 - at that point I would have eaten the curtains I was so hungry all the time!!) So yes it looks good.

Evening al!! Hope you've all been having a good week!! I only started on the Cambridge on Wednesday so am currently on day 3!!

I'm finding the evenings the hardest!! I do shift work so have to do weekends as well so don't tend to find Saturday Sunday any harder!! I think I'm going to have to take up a new hobby for the evenings to take my mind off food!!

The new we system seems good for those of you doing it is there much difference from the old one??

My consultant took a photo of me Wednesday and took my measurement which I think she checks again week 3 so that will be a good motivator!!

Definetly would recommend doing the photos every couple of weeks!!

Good luck over the weekend! X

I was just moaning to my sister about how hard the first week was and that I don't feel my willpower is very strong. She told me to imagine my willpower as a muscle - at the moment it is weak and puny as I haven't been exercising it. Like any muscle it will get stronger each day with use and in a few weeks it will be fully charged and things will seem easier. :thumbsup2

Can I join again. I joined last year and was following WW and by the end of May has lost 25lb. I've continued to follow the plan and maintained up until Xmas when I've put on 3lbs but somehow it feels like a lot more. :scared1:

The new Pro Points system is great so I'd like to try and loose another stone before I go to Florida in October - I remember how great these boards were in helping me loose the first lot of weight.... trouble is this last stone will probably be very hard as this will mean I weigh the same as when I was 18! :rotfl:

I do WW online and my Weigh in day is Friday so I suppose you should record +3lb

Welcome back Janet :wizard:Good luck with the new pro points system, and for your next weigh-in

How's everyones week been going?

I'm quite pleased that I've been pretty good this week. Stayed within my daily pro points allowance and not touched the weekly one yet. Got a curry tonight, but instead of my usual calorie-laden recipe I've currently got a weight watchers chicken tikka masala simmering :thumbsup2. Bought low fat naan breads too and I only intend on having half of one.

I do have a glass of vino tonight, but after an alcohol free week I'm not feeling guilty. This is what my weekly 49 points are for :lmao:

Hope everyone has fab weekends x. Good luck for the weigh-ins next week. Mine is Tuesday so will be back to update how I've done this week, either :cool1: or :scared1:

It sounds like you know what's what with the pro points system ::yes::

Well I went to the gym today and got weighed and measured and lets just say I was like :faint: On a plus point I do have until my holiday ticker reaches zero :goodvibes Next weigh-in is next Friday so I can work towards that :goodvibes
Well done with everyone's weight loss so far :thumbsup2 I'm a little behind starting, but better late than never.

 Aww hun, that first weigh-in is always the worse :wizard: Good luck

I like the idea of taking photos to keep a track of your weight loss :wizard: Good luck hun

That's a good way of looking at it Bev ::yes::

Sorry just had to share feeling very proud of myself only in day 4 but have just left my brothers 30th birthday bash with only drinking water and not touching a drop of food!! I even managed to sneak in my Cambridge shake!! I'm Definetly hoping I've shifted some pounds by Wednesday!!!

Just a quick note to say welcome! :goodvibes to all the new or rejoining dis dieters! Good luck, though i'm sure you won't need it! :yay:

Well, i'm a bit disappointed about this weeks attempt at 'healthy eating' :sad2:

I haven't gone overboard or anything...i just haven't given it 100%. That's partly due to revising for an exam and then having assignments to complete which have meant my body clock is out of sync, and having patchy meals here and there as a result :confused3

I don't weigh in until tomorrow - and I'm not looking forward to it :sad2: We shall see.

On a POSITIVE note - I can now fit in a size 14 pair of jeans that I bought over a year and a half ago :yay:

Checking in late but I got weighed on Saturday and lost 2lbs. Nice start to the New Year. See you all later in the week.

Steve
