Dis Dieters October 09 (week 4 page 19 post 272)

I have lost - actually I cant remember... probably around 5lbs this week....
Ive had a stressful week and it seems to have dropped off!

Anyway... I have now lost 6 stone and 4lbs.... the sad thing is i still have quite a way to go! But losing another 4 stone does seem possible now when 6 months ago I couldnt have dreamed of it!! :)

Well done to all who lost or STS this week! :) We will get there! :)

STS for me this week.
:):thumbsup2
I have STS this week despite my efforts not to eat too much bad stuff, but I have been unwell which has made me much less energetic. I am not too concerned as at least I haven't gained any weight. Just 4 lbs to lose now to reach my next target of 10 and a half stone. Some brilliant advice on the thread this week - I try and stick to the plan where I take in less energy than I need to function, but often this leaves me really lethargic and tired. I am also trying to cut out bread, so thanks guys for all the advice.

That computer programme sounds really useful.

Good luck everyone for any weigh-ins this week, and for a healthy eating week ahead.:wizard:
hope your feeling better now:goodvibes
I could never understand why, within a few days of coming home from Florida I'd start to get blocked up in my sinuses and my ears. I was convinced I was allergic to something in the house / bed and spent a fortune changing pillows duvets etc.,

When I started this diet back in November I decided to give up bread for a while and within a week my sinuses had totally cleared up and it was only then that I realised that, as it's so rubbish :rotfl:, I never ate bread in Florida so the "problem" when I got home was because I was having bread again. I also noticed that I didn't feel as sluggish and stopped snoring straight away

I'd seriously give it a go - even if you decided to just try it for say two weeks I bet you'd notice an improvement in your weight loss and overall health.

Good luck to every one this week
wow great advice this week. I am always stuffed up,sinusis are terrible- told by the doc that I have allergic rhinitis(all yr round hayfever), i have been for allergy tests for the usual grass pollen, cats dogs etc and all were negative :confused3
so after reading what you and Karen have written, I'm going to cut out bread etc

 - thank god you found out the real reason. It just goes to show that what we put into our body seriously affects how we function.

I lost 0.7kg this week and I'm now 1.5kg off target. I've revised it slightly as my neck is starting to look a bit crepey :rolleyes1 so I don't want to loose much more for now. I might go for some serious toning over the next couple of months and then see from there.

I'm off to WW tomorrow and as I'm going from an evening class to a morning class so I'm bound to have lost on the scales :rotfl:
good luck :)

Great stuff, Jakki!!! 1.5kg is nothing so you're virtually there... :worship: And good luck with the toning - pilates might be a good place to start as it's toning without bulking...
