Ok my wife dosen't know yet be we are in. Just booked flight and still trying to get on property. I am constantly checking the site waiting for someone to cancel. I almost had someting reasonable but I was to slow pulling the trigger. Our dates are December 3 - 7. What is the schedual of events?

Good luck with the accomodations. Hope you can get on-property! Zerfs, Commando and I are going to try to meet up on Dec 5 in Epcot. Maybe as brief as a quick photo, but at least it's something.

I was able to get in at Carribean Beach, I was trying to get a value resort but the moderate was not that bad. I am trying to keep the cost down so my wife is happily surprised, instead of wanting to kill me for spending a lot of money. I will try to make Epcot on the 5th. I know I am going to go to the MVMCP that night at the MK.

A whole bunch of us will be in the MK on Monday, 12/6. And assorted other things will happen as well that others will chime in and discuss I'm sure.

If you're in the neighborhood, there is an ice cream meet a Giridelli's on the 4th. I think its around 7:00. I'm getting off the plane and heading right there. Steve and Carl are going to be there. I don't know who else...

We're getting ready to go, DW and #1 DD are in full production mode on making the grandkids autograph books to take with us. I'm the idea guy, as in I'm not allowed to help make them, just give them ideas on how to layout the pages. We're up to our peanut butter in Disney scrapbook stuff.

Sound like what is going to be going on here this weekend! We are going to vacuum out the suitcases and pull back out our summer clothes!

If this ever happens again (so many DDC members at WDW at the same time) we should ditch the wives and kids and rent the Grand 1 Yacht. If we could get 15-20 ppl on it the cost wouldn't be all that bad. Plus with Disney, you are paying for the experience right?

I think the Yacht is around $800 for a few hours on the lagoon, then you have to add in the food and drinks too.

Good for you! I wish I could go solo once.

If I ever build up enough confidence to tell my DW (emphasis on the Darling part) that I am going to Disney without her or my daughter, and I live to tell you guys about it, I would be SHOCKED!


Actually, with my DW cousin living only 20 minutes from Disney, I probably could drop my DD off and have a night out with the wife. I'm sure the Grand 1 would feel lonely with only 2 of us aboard.
