DIS Dads in December - Let the Party Bus Roll!

Well guys, it looks like I may have to back out of the December trip. Some work stuff has come up and I was informed it would not be in my best interest to be missing at the beginning of December unless I wasn't planing on coming back. How's that for subtle?

I haven't canceled the res since things change around here but it's not looking good. What really blows is that since DS is in school now the next window we are looking at to go in is Christmas 2011, since next summer DW and DS will be going to visit her parents in Europe for the summer.

For all you DVC guys; if I'm reading this correctly, as long as it is more than 31 days before my check-in, I can cancel and there is no penalty?

But you are right about the points - if you're more than 31 days out, there is no penalty and you get those points back into that use year to be used or banked.

Found out that Santa Goofy is in AK - At Santa Goofy's Wild Wonderland, so basicly only a timing issue now

commando, in december 2007, at chef mickies, santa goofy was hanging out around the dessert area. if your eating there, maybe you can catch him there.

It's up to you. I know some people have PTRs that last years. I don't do PTRs, but started this for the ease of group planning.

The google calendar is filling up. Looks like there will be a few of us in the MK on Dec 5th. If you are staying for Wishes I'd love to meet up with you guys... that is after texting like school girls all day!

Oh and BTW, I haven't gotten around to a TR yet for my Daddy Daughter Adventure, but I was so thinking of you and Madison earlier this week when we hit the Studios. I so wanted to try and find Otto VBB and ask him if he'd ever heard from his "friend" about the little girl with the OVBB Fan Club #1 t-shirt - hoping to see if it would bring any kind of a reaction or not... but sadly, we didn't get there in time. All of the streetmosphere characters were already done for the day by the time we arrived. I so wanted to chat with him. I love that character too. Such the personification... und genius of old Hollywood.

I just bought our tickets to MVMCP a few days ago for Thursday, December 2nd. Still working out my park days but it seems that Monday is solid. We will be in MK about 12p till Wishes. We will then be escorted out of the park after the fireworks since we aren't staying at a Disney resort.

ok guys I know I am early with this but I am setting up some events that will be streamed live from our Dec trip.I think some of the things that I will be streaming are going to to be the Ice Cream meet,MMCP parade,fireworks and some other things.So it would be cool to get some of the other dads into the live streams!!!So far Steve will be meeting up for ice cream at DTD on sat night,I think I am going to MMCP on thurs so hopefully we can get some dads there for a stream.This should be pretty cool for the Dads at home I know videos are clearer but live streaming is a at the moment thing.
There will be a link and a posted time for these events in my Trip report( once I start it).
I know Christopher did A live ( pics) trip report but I do not believe there was one done through live streaming.So I will venture out and try to set the bar for TR's lol.
I should be breaking off of this PTR around the middle of Nov to start my individual family one.
