DIS Dads in December - Let the Party Bus Roll!

Any one interested in meeting up for some Sunday night football? I don't think this was listed as things to do. However I was looking at schedule and see my Steelers are playing the Ravens Sunday the 5th at 8:30. I will be planning on hitting the Espn Zone that night for the game if anyone is interested.

Without having to read through the whole thread.... yea I'm lazy Is there a tentative schedule of meets? It is looking like we will be there during the first week of DEC 1-7 and I would like to re-connect with some old friends...errrrr I mean nemesis' (Barry) and meet some new dads as well. We are going Seaworld and Universal too so my schedule is going to me crazy this time.

I don't think we do. I think a few people have set up some things, but I don't think we have set a time/place that we all had free to get together.

I'm about 75% sure I'm golfing on Sunday afternoon (between lunch at WCC and dinner at Chef Mickey's) with my FIL, and maybe my BIL if he's around. Not sure where, though. Do you know when/where you're golfing?

Alright guys, I'm going to post my current schedule. It would be awesome if we could get everyone at the same place at the same time, but that would be very hard to do given all of our family, schedule, ADR, etc commitments. Hopefully a few of us are in the same park at the same time and we can organize something. I'll also have an AP, so if something is going on at another park, I could potentially come over and join in.

Saturday, Dec 4:
Flight lands at 6:00pm. Possible meet up with Carl & Steve
Staying with the in-laws in Lakeland this night.

Sunday, Dec 5:
Get checked in to Tree House Villa at Saratoga Springs.
Downtown Disney shopping and converting AP voucher into an AP
12:00 - Lunch at Whispering Canyon Cafe
Afternoon - probably golfing with FIL, maybe BIL
7:00 - Dinner at Chef Mickey's

Monday, Dec 6:
Magic Kingdom
10:20 - Pirates League
12:00 - Lunch at Cinderella's Royal Table
8:00 - Wishes (slight chance we would hop to DHS for Fantasmic)

Tuesday, Dec 7:
Disney's Hollywood Studios
No ADRs/events planned

Wednesday, Dec 8:
Epcot
5:30 Dinner at Ohana
9:30 - Illuminations

Thursday, Dec 9:
Animal Kingdom
4:00(ish) - head over to Magic Kingdom for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

Friday, Dec 10:
Check out of Tree House Villa
Downtown Disney, resort hopping, mostly a free day.
5:00 - Dinner at Boma

Saturday, Dec 11:
Nothing planned. Maybe a trip to Busch Gardens in Tampa?
Staying in Lakeland

Sunday, Dec 12:
Flight leaves at noon

Tentative plans for a meet up have been made.Steve will be leaving on Sunday the 5th,and I get in on sat the 4th.Steve has dinner at DTD SAt night and I just so happen to be staying right across the water at SSR.So we are planning on a meet up at Girhardelli for a little ice cream social.We should be meeting up around 7 7:30ish so if any other dads can make it it would be great.They have that outside seating area right across the walk so seating for many should be fine,plus who could not go for some ice cream?

Staying offsite at GKTW (Give Kids The World)
Events planned at GKTW.
Have to meet family.
Going to Sea World and Universal.
Trying to fit in MVMCP.

Plus all the other 'stuff' that comes with planning. I think we will be in MK on Monday the 6th.....

Is there a calendar set up with everyone's schedule? Like google calendar or something? It might help if everyone can modify a calendar with where they will be and any meets.

I'm pretty sure we'll be able to swing by on our way from the airport. We land a little after 6, so by the time we get loaded into the FIL's Explorer, we could be to DTD around 7 or 7:30. Just in time for ice cream!

That's a great idea. AJRitz has a DisDad's calendar set up over on Google, but I can't edit it. If you have one that you want to get set up, please do so. Otherwise I'll mess around and see if I can get one going.

guys we have a calendar over on our dis site
If you fill in your calender you can share it with others I just have to remember my password to get in.But If you click share your calendar can be combined with others,I did it with one of your before I think it was Steve's but I will let u know
